Amrita School of Engineering: A Top Choice for B.Tech and other courses in India

Overall Rating
Amrita School of Engineering is one of the best Institutes in India. You must surely get in the Institute if you want to pursue B.Tech. It is one of the most accredited and awarded Institution in India. The Institute is autonomous. The entrance exam is pretty easy to crack as compared to JEE. Well maintained and modern infrastructure. Very well educated and friendly teachers. All the offices have very cooperative staff.
 

Academics Rating
B.Tech is a 4 year under graduate course. The entry requirements for amrita are pretty straight forward. You just need to have studied PCM in your 12th standard. For entrance exam an aspirant must hold a rank in the entrance exam conducted by Amrita. The only eligibility is to get good marks in the entrance exam. The exam pattern is pretty straightforward, same as any other entrance exams. Pretty easy to crack in my opinion.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties at Amrita School of Engineering are well trained and knowledgeable. We can approach them any time of the day regarding any doubts that we have. They are pretty friendly to students. We can ask for extra classes if there is something we do not understand during the class. The teachers will always be ready to help. Teachers also help us in publishing research papers. They will help us throughout the journey of our course there.
 

Placement Rating
There is a placement cell in Amrita School of Engineering called 'CIR'. They help students get placements by preparing them from third year onwards.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of the Institute is very modern. There are lifts for everyone including students. Spacious classrooms, enough halls for conducting functions and a state of the art mess are provided within the premises. The library contains almost every book you need. There is a printing hub in the Institute itself which provides printing options for your lab sheets. Most labs have AC’s and coolers.
 

Campus Rating
Due to diversity of students studying in the Institute, there are many regional festivals like Pongal, Ugadi, Ganesh Chaturthi and all that are celebrated in the campus. We do have a variety of other programs like open mic, flash mobs, etc. People's favorite activity to do might be sitting in the lawn in front of the Institute after classes. Vidyut, the national-level multi-fest is conducted almost every year. It is for 3 days.
