Apex Institute of Management and Science (AIMS) is based in the education hub area, Mansarovar, Jaipur, where thousands of students used to come on daily basis. I chose this college because it appeared on the top of “best BCA colleges in Jaipur” list. The search engine position of AIMS does not justify its academic culture. The college selects students on the basis of their past academic performance and propose merit list of selected candidates. The college timing was quite flexible and professors used to allow students only for their subject class. AIMS has highly qualified and experienced subject professors. Quota admission was also allowed in the college which was around 10% for sports person, merit list holders, and others. Initially, the college was quite strict about wearing the proper dress code of the institute. The overall academic journey in Apex Institute of Management and Science was pretty good and memorable for me. I learned core principles of student life and got insights about proper academic period.

AIMS was providing outdated knowledge of technical subjects such as C, Java, PHP, C++, networking, and others. There was no upgrade in the syllabus since I passed out from the institute. Many classes were skipped by professors due to some personal and professional reasons. The college did not offer the latest and trending subjects’ knowledge in their programs. It was quite disturbing when regular classes were not conducted in the class. In the first year, many students dropped-out from the college due to poor academic performance of the institute. AIMS offers absolute freedom to students to learn and gain knowledge related to course’s subjects by using computer and internet.

Apex Institute of Management & Science has a well-qualified, disciplined, and experienced faculty member. They have very good technical subject professors who have student-friendly behavior and teaching style. Most of the professors had more than 10 years of experience in their core subjects; especially, elementary physics, Java, and C++. AIMS professors used to ask cross questions after describing a specific subject, which was the very nice characteristic of them. Few of the faculty members used to attend the class only for their payment and pass time by giving a reluctant lecture. The faculty members were quite joyful in most of the time.

When I joined Apex Institute of Management & Science, the HOD of the department assured me about campus placement, but when I came in the third-year of the program, there was not a single company that came to AIMS. My expectations were completely disrupted when I came in the third-year of the course. Yes, but faculty members informed us about MNCs’ (Capgemini, Wipro, TCS, and others) recruitments in Jaipur. I also asked from alumni about past campus placements, and they told me that there are a few companies came in last 5 years and you have to give own efforts to join an MNC. I found that AIMS is also one of those colleges who promise 100% campus placement.

Apex Institute of Management & Science, Mansarovar campus does not have any accommodation services in the premises. It is advised to look for nearby PG, room/flat on rent before getting admission in any course. The accommodation charges were decent nearby and behind the institute. I had no issues with AIMS related to accommodation services and I experienced a very cheerful environment in PG. It is very affordable to accommodate yourself in a good dwelling place within 300-meter radius from the campus. It would be good enough if AIMS also had its accommodations. I could create more memories with the same college students and share my past experiences with classmates.

All departments of Apex Institute of Management & Science were under a single roof and students need to wander from department to another. The overall campus of AIMS was quite good and decent but the canteen was very bad. There were no proper food and beverages services in the college’s canteen. I used to face meal availability issue in the canteen. The college has two playing areas; one for volleyball or badminton and other for Yoga and small games. The garden of AIMS was effectively maintained and nurtured, and I love to spend some time in greenery.

AIMS is based in the prime location of Jaipur which is Mansarovar. Students can easily reach to the institute by bus or their own vehicle. The visibility of campus is absolutely clear and anyone can find Apex Institute of Management & Science on V.T. Road, Mansarovar.
