Placement Opportunities at Adamas University

Adamas University has started its journey from the year 2014 as a multi-disciplinary university and has been ever improving since then. It is situated very near to Kolkata International Airport as well as most commuted railway junctions, which makes it easier to travel to the university. The campus has wide range of infrastructures starting from labs for engineering departments to science labs. Each classroom is smart classroom and fully air-conditioned. It’s just been 10 years since it has started, and so there are things it has to work upon. This university has very good faculties and infrastructure, which was one of the many reasons I had chosen this university.

For Law school, this university has only BA LLB (Hons.) and BBA LLB (Hons.) course for UG, LLM for PG and PhD course is available here too. The admissions are based on CLAT results. It has its own admission test, AUAT through which students can be admitted. Exams currently are in the form of continuous assessment for internals and end sem exam for external. There are several committees, societies, and clubs responsible for organizing various competitions.

Faculties are good here as they are approachable. All the faculties teach very well, and they teach using ICT tool and adapt a Socratic method of teaching that is having an interactive sessions in the classroom. The faculties for BBA can be a bit better but issues might be resolved very soon. Other than that the faculties always explains if there is any doubt and never ignore any question being asked.

The placements here are above average. Yes, there is a placement cell and it starts training the final year students from the 8th semester onwards, by collecting their curriculum vitae along with their cover letters. It organizes court visits through various committees and societies. The placement gets better with each passing year.

There are hostel facilities in Adamas University in sharing ranging, from single to triple sharing. In addition, there are options of AC and on-AC. The male and female students have different hostel buildings, and food is included in the accommodation.

The overall infrastructure here is very good although some needs to be improved. The university has well equipped labs and technicians for respective labs and each of the labs has its own technician to assist the students. University is well equipped with playgrounds and cafeterias for students to have their leisure time spent there. It also has basketball courts. There are football teams.

Honestly, it has a good campus life. Mates here are mostly friendly and helpful. There golf carts for easy transportation throughout the university. There is a mandatory fest that stretches for about 2 to 3 days that is organized every year. Festivals are being celebrated quite widely. There are many other cultural activities that take place here. In addition, it celebrates every kind of event and celebrates all cultures.
