Fee Structure and Scholarships at Adamas University

I chose Adamas University because of the international affairs which it provides plus a good sophisticated environment which helps me keep motivated and do well throughout the curriculum. There are several other educational Universities in Kolkata where students are pursuing B.Sc (Hons.) but the difference comes in providing placements and internships. My overall experience in this University is really exceptional. As of now I'm hoping for an even better one in the next years.

I have chosen B.Sc (Hons.) in Biotechnology at Adamas University. This course is all about the use of biological processes to solve problems in agriculture, healthcare, the environment and more. It is a growing field as of now with numerous opportunities in the agricultural and healthcare field. The entry requirement is very simple. The students have to give admission test and if they perform well they will get a good scholarship. I got a scholarship of Rs.20,000 for securing 83.2% in the admission test exam. In every 6 months, one semester exam is held and the exams are not so tough. If the students are studying attentively through the whole year, they will score good marks.

Up to 3rd year, the fee in Adamas University is Rs. 72,000 per semester. In the 4th year, the fee is Rs. 43,000 per semester. There are a total of 8 semesters and that makes a grand total of Rs. 5,18,000 plus there are some donation fees as well which is around Rs. 60,000.

The faculties of Adamas University are just excellent. The faculty is very experienced as well. Especially, our Head of the Department of Biotechnology, Mr. Manoj Kumar Singh, teaches exceptional microbiology and cell. He is a veteran of this field. In every classroom, there are screen projectors for practical and This clears understanding of concepts. If the students face any problem they can ask the question 100 times to the teachers and the faculty solves their problems. The teacher to student ratio is 14:60. The students share a good bonding with all of the teachers.

Adamas University provides good placements in very big and reputed biotech companies like Eyesystem, GSK Pharma, Syngene International, Biocon, etc. During the campus season more than 10 companies come in the University for giving placements. The highest package which a student fetched was around Rs. 1.2 Cr LPA in Pfizer and the average package is around 6 LPA.

Yes, Adamas University provides good residential facilities. The University provides spacious homes for students studying there with good food and hygiene. The infrastructure of the hostel is really good as all provides the students with all the basic amenities. The hostel fee is around Rs. 90,000 per year.

Adamas University has a marvelous infrastructure. It is one of the biggest educational Universities of Kolkata (area wise) and also it provides all the courses of Bachelor's of Science, Business of Administration, Diploma, Masters, etc. The classrooms are big enough to accommodate large number of students. All the classrooms have CCTV cameras as well for keeping an eye on all of the students. The University has a huge library where there are numerous books, journals and many more resources. The University has also its own canteen. There are football grounds, Cricket grounds, Badminton Courts, etc. Transport facilities are also good. My favorite part of the University infrastructure is the sports quota. The sports session helps me to keep motivated and reenergize which helps me in learning as well.

The life at campus is very exciting. There are many clubs in our University like Entrepreneurship club, Sports club, Music club, Biotechnology club, etc. In every month, there are some fests and festival celebration that go on in the University like Fashion week, Grooming week, Christmas celebration, New Year celebration, Republic Day celebration, etc. Some extracurricular activities which are held in the University are like Blood donation activities, Sports activities, creative activities like drawing or arts, handcrafts etc. Overall, I'm having a blast in Adamas University.
