BML Munjal University - Scholarships, Courses, and Career Prospects

I came across this University through a promotional email. The overall expectation for the university was a nice campus and a comfy life and that is fulfilled. I chose the University as the intake is not very high (500 students in B.Tech) and the average package is around 8.2 lakh which is quite nice for a private University. Others should go for the University as the campus is pretty and the sports facilities and everything is nice.

The eligibility is 60% or more marks in boards exams for B.Tech and scholarship is provided on basis of JEE, CUET, BMU CETT, Domicile, Sports scholarship, etc. I enrolled in the B.Tech course as I took PCM in 12th class and always wanted to pursue computer science in coming future. Well, the curriculum here includes subjects like communication skills, design thinking, engineering ethics in the first semester which are very interesting and kind of easy to score. The curriculum let's you chose one foundation course in second semester and the overall curriculum is nice.

Well almost all of the faculties are from reputed Universities and they teach according to the handout provided to us at the start for every semester. They teach us using the smart board in the classroom and there are faculty from iit's, nit's and other great Universities. The only problem with the faculty is that some of them take things lightly and don't take classes many a days. The lab classes are often useless and waste of time. In my course the c programming teacher is very uncooperative and has a very rude behavior towards all students in my section. This makes it difficult to approach him. The calculus's teachers are amazing and provide great notes for the exams as well. Overall the faculty is average and doesn't pay much attention and some have tantrums while providing marks for assignment.

Yes, we do have a placement cell at our University and it helps by inviting companies to our University and also helps students get internships. The mass recruiter companies generally avoid coming to our University. The average package for B.Tech is around 8.2 lakh and highest is 34 lakh given by service now.

Yes, there are hostel facilities in our University. The infrastructure of our hostel building is great and there are lifts since the main tower is 14 floored and there are also vending machines which make the hostel life great. There is pool table and a table tennis table on certain floors for students to enjoy.

There are two academic blocks, block A and block B. The classes are held block B and block A has gym and incubation centre for meetings generally occupied by MBA startup enthusiasts. There is a north block building where all the classes are held and the infrastructure of all the buildings is very nice and it feels new. There is also a building for lab classes.

The overall campus life is great we are allowed to be out of the campus till 10 pm and the hostel in timings are 1:30 am which helps us to enjoy the green and beautiful campus . The crowd is mostly north Indian but the college has a lot of diversity compared to how it is in the northern India . There are fests almost every month all organized by students .there are around 25 clubs in our college , some are technical clubs while others are for dancing , singing , literature , debate etc.
