If I talk about my overall experience in the University, then it is excellent. We have all the facilities, and multiple co-curricular activities keep happening. The reason that made me choose this University is that it has a very good record when it comes to selection in judiciary and other government jobs. Almost 1/3 of the vacancy in up judiciary is filled by our University. It lies in the centre of the city, which made everything accessible for us.

I am a student of B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) and I chose this course for the sole purpose of pursuing Judiciary. To get admitted to this University, you have to clear an All India exam known as CLAT, and you will get admission on the basis of your All India ranks. We have exams twice a year, and each semester is for 6 months. The course is all-encompassing and prepares you for various fields of law like corporate, litigation, judicial, etc.

We have the lowest fee structure in comparison to other NLU’s. The breakdown of our fee structure is that: Rs. 1,48,000. There are no additional charges included. Our University does have scholarships for special category students. These are also provided considering economic basis as the criterion. The income limit criterion in this University is 2 lakh. If your father's income is less than this, then you are eligible for getting a scholarship.

The faculty of our University is good and very approachable. They will help you out with any of your doubts if they remain. Most of the professors in our University have Ph.D in their disciplines, and if I talk about the teacher-student ratio, then we have two sections divided. Each section has 60-70 students, and our classrooms are also equipped with all of the facilities, like digital projectors and smart boards. The faculty is very well versed with their subjects. They can help you understand any topic in an easier way.

We have a placement committee named "Internship and Placement Committee" in our University that helps us with internships as well as provides placements. It helps the students in maintaining well-versed relations with the firms, which will ultimately come for placements. All of the law firms, such as Luthra and Luthra, Amarchand Mangaldas and Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas, and AZB, come to our University to conduct the recruitment drives. Currently, I am a third-year law student, so I haven't been placed yet, but if you want to check for placement data, you can visit the NIRF website, which shows that around 102 placements have taken place at our University in the year 2023.

Yes, our University provides residential facilities. If you are in the 1st year, then you will be allotted a double sharing room, and from the 2nd year only, you will be given a single sharing room if you are a private person and love your personal space. We have separate hostels for girls and boys. If I talk about the food quality of mess, then it is just average. As our hostels are free, we don't have to pay any hostel charges. The timing of our hostel is that everyone needs to be in their dorm by 1:00 am. My overall experience of living in a hostel is just excellent. We also have a fully equipped gym. The hostel fee is around Rs. 35,000 for mess.

We have a 42-acre campus and around 900 students residing in it. It actually feels very big if we compare the size of the campus with the number of students residing. The locality is very good. We have a fully equipped market at a distance of 500 meters. We also have a very well-equipped library with air conditioning, digital labs, and reading room sections divided separately. We also have a canteen where you can buy food by paying out of your pocket. Other than these, we have medical facilities available on campus and an ambulance for emergency needs of students if they fall ill. The security in our University is very tight, with around 80 security guards guarding around the campus.

My overall experience of campus life is just awesome, incorporating various activities like festivals, parties, sports functions, and other festivals that we usually celebrate on campus. The University crowd is very keen and intelligent and keeps on working towards their success. Although There are some students who don't keep track of their studies, etc. There are multiple clubs and committees in our University, like sports, the legal service clinic, legal aid committee, etc. We also have fest happening like Riwayat and OHR, etc. We also have several engaging activities that keep happening in a month where you can participate and enjoy.
