Army Institute of Law Mohali Placement Rate is Exceptional

Overall experience is really amazing here, at AIL. Talk in terms of college life, placements, cultural society, mooting and academics everything is really worth it. People come here from different parts of the country being from Army background and its really lovely to connect with these people. Diversity here makes this campus fun. Also, sports are the unifying part of this college. You can bond easily with anyone here and that's the best part of this college.

At AIL only two courses are offered B.A.L.L.B and L.L.M of 5 years and 1 year respectively. For getting admissions here you have to apply for AIL LET which is conducted by AIL itself which is of 200 marks and somewhere around 130. You can expect to get admission here. Also here are 100 seats of which 75 to Army category, 25 for Punjab category and 5 for Civil category. For Punjab category admissions are done through the percent of 12th grade. Generally it ranges between 97-99 percent, and for civil category you have to score somewhere around 150.

Fees for B.A.LL.B is total of Rs. 3,00,168/- and for other category i.e. Punjab and civil category it is Rs. 3,52,492/-. If we talk about fees distribution then one time charge is around 47,000/- and college annual charges include tuition fee i.e. Rs. 1,36,826/- and for hostel charges it's Rs. 1,16,882/- in which Rs.14,000/- is refundable. About scholarship there are various scholarships based on academic and moot performances which are really interesting and includes cash prize up to Rs. 50,000/-.

The faculty here is really supportive and helpful in any area of academics, whether it be mooting or be in any sphere of law. The faculty members mostly are permanent here except 1-2 which are temporary. Mostly faculty members have great experience and teachers here using black board, as well as PPT and class discussions to make the topic more understanding and interactive for students. The faculty is really approachable in college hours and during off hours too.

Our college has a very experienced and strong placement cell. Every year our students joins law firms including tier 1 also and people join defense services also like JAG, CDS, AFCAT, etc. Apart from these we have many corporate and banks as our recruiters like IFFCO Tokio, ICICI bank, Wipro, HSBC, EY, and many more. Average package is around 7-8 lakh per annum.

Our college has 2 hostels for both boys and girls. There is total capacity of 450 students in campus. Apart from this neighborhood of college is full of residential area where you can easily get flats at cheaper rates. Mess food is quite good as compared to other colleges. The quality and hygiene is not compromised here. 3 meals are served and snacks are also served.

Our college has an Academic block which includes a MPH (multipurpose hall) including a reading room, library and classrooms. Apart from this there is gym and café also. College has all facilities related to sports, cultural and other including academics and co-curricular activities. We also have medical assistance available. Apart from this there is a sports complex nearby college where students generally go for sports. Campus is surrounded by several markets where you can get all your essentials very easily and transport is also easily accessible. Being nearby Chandigarh city, you can explore various attractive tourist places and cafes.

Overall campus life is quite fun and you are engaged all the time in one or other activity. College crowd is really amazing and you will find diversity of people. Here many clubs are there including cultural, sports, moot, Eco club, ACRSS and various others academic clubs where you can learn new things. Our college also conducts two very big moot events which are AIL- Checkmate and AIL-NHRC national moot court competition. I would say overall campus life is really fun.
