Professor Jayashankar Telangana Agriculture University is prestigious university in Telangana where it provides the essence of Agricultural studies in all the aspects. The courses offered by PJTSAU are B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture, Post Graduation, and Ph.D in various agricultural subjects like Plant Breeding, Entomology, and Agronomy etc. It’s easy to enroll in this university through the ICAR Rank for post graduation and Doctoral studies and State level entrance exam and ICAR UG exam for under graduation studies. Every year Telangana state will conduct an entrance exam for under graduation course for the students of BIPC streams and ICAR will conduct ICAR UG exam. The curriculum for the above mentioned courses are as per Telangana State Education Law and ICAR Standards.

The fee structure will be varied according to the semesters. There is also availability of payment seats for under graduation studies; it is about 5 lakh for the period of 4 years. Scholarships will be provided by the university to the economically weaker section and based on the parent’s annual income.

There is a placement cell in Professor Jayashankar Telangana Agriculture University where it takes care about the placements every year. Agriculture there is no flexible opportunities. they have to complete their Master’s and doctoral degree in the field of agriculture so that they will get a good opportunity in seed companies, if not they have to pursue MBA in Agribusiness Management, in this they will be having wide variety of flexible opportunities for further growth.

The hostel environment in the university is quite good. I can say it is the less polluted area in Hyderabad where we can find a lot of biodiversity. The mess is student run mess; students themselves handle the mess and its menu.

PJTSAU is the best campus. It is having good infrastructure facilities and it is about 100 acres. students can avail various opportunities like university central library where we can find more than 30000 books, Auditorium for various cultural events, conference hall, seminar hall, sports complex, indoor stadium, etc. Every year university will conduct intercollegiate sports meet along with various sub campuses located in various parts of Telangana. A canteen is also available inside the campus of Professor Jayashankar Telangana Agriculture University where you can enjoy delicious food.

The academic life in PJTSAU is quite vibrant. There are a lot of extracurricular activities that are organised here. Professors are student friendly here.
