S.S. Khanna Girl's Degree college in Prayagraj (formerly known as Allahabad) offers a unique blend of quality education with a supportive faculty and a safe environment for only female students. This Institute stands out mostly with its vision of gaining academic excellence and empowering women through education. One of the best factors is that the faculty here especially law faculty is very well qualified and approachable creating a good mentor-mentee relationship. If we talk about the College's infrastructure its quite normal, not every modern. Sometimes the infrastructure gives more like schoolish vibes to me personally. The safe and secure environment is particularly reassuring for parents and students alike. Another significant aspect is that this Institute gives great emphasis on extracurricular activities, which contributes to the holistic development of students. While the on- campus placements are limited.

To be honest the faculty is quite decent, well qualified and approachable which is usually kind towards us. The faculty members are ready to help us in any project, paper presentation, internship and studies. However, while the general academic infrastructure is satisfactory. Students desiring highly specialized resources or advanced facilities might find certain limitations. Following the rules of BCI, we have strict Attendance regulations. There are regular classes that are held and seminars are mostly held 2-3 times in a month to help us and enhance our skills. The college also provides facilities like libraries, study materials and research materials for various competitions like moots and other competitions as well. We also have our own Moot Court which adds a great advantage to our faculty while the other law colleges in Prayagraj usually does not have their own moot court except the main Allahabad University Campus. We also have our own Moot Court Competition known as- Justice Gopal Ji Mehrotra Moot Court Competition which is a prestigious legal event that serves as a platform for the students of law to develop their advocacy skills and gain practical insights into the field of law, named after the esteemed Justice Gopal Ji Mehrotra. The competition fosters a legal spirit of legal learning and intellectual engagement. This event is held every year in the month of November with the teams coming to our college from all over the country. It’s a 2-day event. It focuses on legal Excellence, practical application and networking Opportunities. The college also has a Legal Aid Cell that aims to help the needy and unprivileged people and provide justice to them. By being the member of this cell, students can actually learn about the public problems on the first hand itself and acquire the skills for providing them Justice.

Fee structures for the B.A.LLB (Hons) is Rs 50,000/- for first year and from the second year its Rs 45,000/-.

Most faculty members hold advanced degrees, including Ph.D's and postgraduate qualifications, in their respective fields. Professors are well- versed in their domain, offering students insights into theoretical concepts and practical applications. The college encourages its faculty to attend workshops, seminars and professional development programs to stay updated with the latest educational methodologies. Mostly teachers use smart teaching systems like Electronic Boards. Students also can approach the faculty members regarding any queries or anything as they are kind and helpful. Most of the Professors are from good colleges like NLU.

The college has very little scope for internships and for placements. You have to be on your own for this.

The college does not have any hostel. Students can look for the PG’s nearby.

As I have mentioned it earlier the college's infra is mostly School like and not very modern. It’s quite normal. Students who might desire for the modernized structures and buildings may find limitations. The classrooms are spacious. There is a library with a wide range of books, journal, and reference materials. They also have online research databases. Classrooms are well air- conditioned. It also has a well-designed space that is Auditorium and conference hall for seminar, cultural events and guest lectures.

The college crowd consists of most locals and nearby areas but a good number of students also come from Banaras, Jharkhand, Bihar and various other regions. There are 2 clubs to foster cultural appreciation and encourage student participation in extracurricular activities in law faculty that is PARIZAAD and CLIQUIE that helps students to showcase their talents like acting, singing and dancing (Solo and Group), Literary, Arts (Debates, Essay writing, Quiz competitions), etc. Street plays (NUKKAD NATAK): performed on topics like women's education, social issues, environmental conservations and social justice. The college also organizes sports events, cultural fests and many more for personal growth promoting creativity and teamwork among students.
