The Sadanlal Sanvaldas Khanna Girls Degree College Prayagraj is a solid undergraduate experience for girls seeking a safe and supportive environment for learning. It is affiliated to the Allahabad University. The College is located in Meerapur, Prayagraj. The College has a clean environment with greenery, great faculties, and affordable fees. Decent infrastructure with well-maintained Classrooms, big Conference Rooms, and Library. Being a first year student, I'm not aware of placements, but they seem average. Moreover, College campus life is at its best.

I chose Bachelor of Commerce (B. Com). I entered this University through CUET which is conducted by NTA. However, students from Science, Maths, or Arts background can also opt for this course without giving the required exam. It is a three-year degree for Bachelor of Commerce and four year program for B.Com (Hons.) as per NEP. A minimum of 75% attendance is mandatory. Teachers are helpful, explain concepts clearly, and also clear doubts personally. This course also helps in understanding Business and Finances in real life.

The Application form fee is Rs. 600/- and the annual Course fee is Rs. 19,000/- which may vary depending on the course. An additional Rs. 500/- is charged for each minor subject in every semester. The College also provides scholarships especially to single girl child.

Teachers are one of the strongest aspects of this College. They are well-qualified and focus more on practical knowledge rather than rote learning. Classes are always conducted regularly and teachers rarely remain absent. If one teacher is unavailable, another usually takes the class. Their teaching method includes Blackboard, PPTs or conducting Quizzes. Teachers may change each semester which can affect continuity but also allows learning from different teaching styles. Every student is assigned a Mentor and they can openly discuss academic or personal concerns. Overall the faculty support system is appreciated.

The overall infrastructure of Sadanlal Sanvaldas Khanna Girls Degree College Prayagraj is average. Classrooms are clean and well-maintained. The campus has greenery where students can sit and relax under sunlight. A Conference Hall and separate Libraries for different faculties are also available. However, sometimes Projectors do not work during the classes. Washroom conditions are not very satisfactory and there is no proper Water Cooler facility. The Auditorium has a limited number of seats compared to the number of students in the College. There are around 22 Laboratories. There is a Canteen but the hygiene and seating arrangements are not so good. On the positive side, there are many good Cafes and shops near the College for better food options.

Campus life here is secure and comfortable with strong attention given to student safety. Almost every month, some function or competition is organised and cash prizes are often awarded. Overall, the college offers a good balance of academics and extracurricular activities.
