BBDEC Lucknow: Scholarship Opportunities and Fee Structure

My overall experience was good. BBDEC Lucknow has supportive and understanding teachers and it has good infrastructure and living culture. Being in my particular hometown this is one of the best colleges, which could be preeminent option for the students who are opting for the Undergraduate courses. This institute doesn’t have much pressure like other colleges, which makes it friendlier and recommendable for students to opt for it.

The course, which I opted, was B.Tech in Computer Science. My main motive was as it offers one of the best educations and is well reputation in Lucknow. An eligibility criterion is the major constraint, which creates barrier for most of the students to get admission in most of the colleges. However, as part of my concern this college didn't have much high eligibility criteria. Admission process of college is quite simple i.e. either you can get direct admission or it could be also being done with the AKTU counseling. Academics gave me the chance to prepare for the real world challenges and helped me to do and manage the things in timeline.

Yearly, my fee was Rs. 1,03,000. Apart from this, there was an examination fee, which students have to pay through AKTU portal themselves. In addition, one of the best things about this institution was that students could apply for UP scholarship, which is as well supported by college staffs and the faculties. Majorly we get the 50% of the tuition fee in scholarship.

The faculties in Babu Banarasi Das Engineering are good far enough. They too belong to the well-known colleges. However, they need to gain more teaching experience. Mostly, they prefer Blackboards and on the requirement they may use PPTs. Problem solving abilities of most of the faculties was good. They are ready to help every time as the students reach out to them for any kind of help or queries.

Yes, our college does have a placement cell. The cell encourages students to participate in every placement fair and also helps them in boosting up their career. Majorly JD (Job Description) of college is shown in the auditorium through PPTs and presentation and then the process of the placement starts. Major visited companies were TCS, Wipro, Fujitsu, Arco Technologies, HSBC, etc. Average package of our college is 4-5 LPA. My placement experience was overall good as I was placed in 4 companies during on campus placements.

Yes, our college does have hostel facilities making it one more plus point as students of different cities can also opt for this college. There are 7-10 hostels for both girls as well as boys, having warden and guards ensuring the safety of the students. Mess food was overall good. Hostels were too strict in terms of timing of in and out. As I was from Lucknow, I didn't have much further experience.

Our college does have library in each building, making it easy for some students to gain knowledge who can't afford books. Campus size of Babu Banarasi Das College is overall much bigger as it offers many courses. Canteen facilities of our college are also good.

My overall campus life is good as I gained many knowledge and experience in this 4-year long journey. College has high crowd as it offers many courses marking it centre of knowledge and skills. Yes, there were many clubs and societies. No, I was not member of any society. Many activities are organized by the college. Every year, there is a fest in a college named as ‘Utkarsh’ making each student highly engaged in it. My overall experience of college life was far good enough as per my expectations.
