Glimpse of My Experience at BIST Bhopal

Overall Rating
BIST is a good institute for Engineering. Faculties properly work for students and give right direction for achieving goals. I chose this institute because of its affordability and good placement. It provides bus facility, free books, and hygienic canteen food. The fee is same for all the semesters In addition, it doesn’t pressurize to pay additional fee.
 

Academics Rating
I chose Information Technology branch because I was interested in software developement and IT field. For admission, you need 12th pass without backlog and have marks greater than 50%. You may get admission through institute level counseling. In institute, there is no exam to choose field of your interest. Attendance is must be above 75%, otherwise it will create problem in form forwarding.
For IT Branch, fee will be Rs. 50,000 per semester. Exam fee is upto Rs. 2,000 and admission fee will be Rs. 1,530. You may get scholarship of upto Rs. 30,000 for OBC and Rs. 60,000 for ST/SC. there is some concession for PWD candidates also.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty members help you to choose us fields as they give you proper direction. They will also help us to visit institute. All faculties have done Master’s in their field. They help us in projects and enhance our skill set. All faculties are trying to be friendly and humble.
 

Placement Rating
Placement cell (TPO) of my institute is too good. TPO invites many companies for orientation and placements. It is also conducting class for training. It also helps us to get prepared for off campus drives. Highest package is 57 LPA and average is 5 LPA. Every year, upto 90 percent students are placed.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel is not available in institute campuses but faculty helps us to find good hostel.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are three buildings in BIST. Campus has around 27 acres of land. For important classes there are special rooms with projector and other advanced equipment for studies. Library, computer labs, electronic labs, seminar hall, auditorium, boys, and girls common rooms are also there. Canteen will be clean with tasty food items. My favorite place was computer labs and Garden. In every floor, water cooler and clean washroom is available in institute. This good in part of institute.
 

Campus Rating
My overall campus life is good. I learnt technical and behavioral skills here. In institute, upto 2000 student pass out every year. It has 4.8 rating at google. In institute, you will get many clubs like Hindi club, English club, NCC, RSS, Coding club and others. These clubs organize many events. Coding club has lots of events and collabs with tech companies. Every year, celebrity fest, and annual festival is organized. I would recommend this institute to a middle class student.

    Our institute BIST Institute is established in the year 2000. This institute is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi Technical University, Bhopal. After discussing with my parents and some senior I choose this college because this college provides best teaching experience and placement support.
