Review of Institute

Overall Rating
I am passed out student of SVIT Institute 2020-24 batch. My Institute was 6th ranked Institute based on placement and campus. There is one factor which I was curies to talk about, that is other curricular activities in my Institute like Mecia hack, Codechaf and bro code events. Moreover, teaching method of my Institute was great as compared to other Institutes. Furthermore, many teachers are familiar with me, so that we can learn from them as well.
 

Academics Rating
I want to learn coding and get good corporate job since my schools times, so that’s why it was a great opportunity for me to take admission in technical course like IT. Eligibility criteria of base on ACPC cut off. Our cut off in 2020 was 60-40 ranks. Process of admission is very simple, we need to deposit Rs. 20,000 for conformation. Exam was based on semester like internal, external exam by GTU and lastly practical exam in every semester. I prepare well for academics like for any competition.
My Institute fee was Rs. 84,000 in particular years. That was total fees. Deposit amount of Rs. 20,000 + 7000 for secure admission that will be given back after graduation. Institute cannot provide any extra advantage but students can get government scholarship for help in their studies.
 

Faculty Rating
Overall, in my course IT, most of the faculties were assistant professors and their method of teaching in technical subjects is via PPT or blackboard. Problem solving ability of particular faculty was amazing like it was good in problem solving skills. Ratio of per class is 60-65. My personal experience was average and good enough for my Institute time and most of the faculties provide unique material, that helps students for problem solving in particular subjects.
 

Placement Rating
About placement, last year as per my on-campus placement year, around 60-70 companies visited my Institute and placement ranges between 2.6 lakh – 9 lalk annually. The average placement taken by students is nearly 3.5 to 4 LPA. Overall, experience was good.
 

Hostel Rating
I lived in PG, and my total cost of monthly was around Rs. 4,000 rent + Rs. 3,500 food + Rs. 2,000 others == total Rs. 9,500 nearly. For hostel, students overall expense ratio of Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 12,000 monthly with food. Mess food was below average as i talked to other my Institute friends.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Our Institute is near village, Vasad outside of Institute. The infrastructure was below average as the students could not go anywhere after 9pm. However inside my Institute the campus was large and canteen areas were also good and clean. Moreover, our campus size was 10,000 square feet and also it used to play games in outdoor gardens, etc. Classroom capacity of my Institute is nearly 60-70 people per class and we have library, seminar halls, and Auditorium as well for better facility.
 

Campus Rating
Overall, campus area is round shaped with 7 departments attached with each other. We have no clubs but every year Institute conducts many curriculum activities like coding, hackathon in inter zone level, and sports domestic league. I had personally amazed experience If I talk about campus point of view. My Institute also held fun activities like in 2023, Institute invited big party DJ events for fun and also involved chief guests too.

    SVIT is a renowned institute, growing rapidly in field of education and sports. It's one of the famous institutes in Charotar area, having high ranking in GTU results. Campus is of moderate size but adequate for students imbibing. There are roofed parking facilities for vehicles and institute bus facilities are also available from Vadodara to institute....
