Overall Rating
My overall experience was very nice in IDEAS Gwalior. I made a lot of memories there, sports during fest time was the cherry on cake. Syllabus and practicals were very interesting and were completed before time always. This particular institute is best for learning as an undergraduate. The teachers at Institute of Dental Education & Advance Studies will teach everything in an appropriate manner, doubts are also solved very smoothly.
 

Academics Rating
I choose BDS course. The eligibility criteria are to qualify NEET UG, and then only we can enroll for institute counseling. Thorough institute counseling only we can get admission at Institute of Dental Education & Advance Studies. We need to attach every document they ask like 10th mark sheet and 12th mark sheet, NEET result, NEET roll number, Aadhaar card, etc. Annual exam is taken by university and institute takes internal exams and also pre university exams are conducted twice in a year.
Yearly fees are there which was Rs. 2, 00,000 at my time in 2018. It keeps on increasing slightly every year on an average of Rs. 10,000 – Rs. 15,000. There is some scholarship provided by the government to SC/ST category students. We need to deposit Rs. 10,000 as caution money which is refunded later on.
 

Faculty Rating
Communication between students and faculty at Institute of Dental Education & Advance Studies was very good. We always felt free to ask any doubt and also teachers were very open for problem solving and also were very supportive. Mode of teaching was very vast including everything like ppt, group discussion, models, live training, etc. Bonding with the faculty is very fine so we didn't feel scared or shy in asking any doubts about the topics again and again.
 

Placement Rating
Placement facility was not there as Institute of Dental Education & Advance Studies is a dental institute.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the Institute of Dental Education & Advance Studies has residential facilities for both students and teachers as well. Residential area is within the campus itself. Also, mess has water coolers and every other required facility. Hostel fee that time was around Rs. 75,000 per year.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Campus size is very good and has a good amount of trees and greenery all over. A cafeteria is there in the campus. Also, it has one library where we can sit and study, it's very spacious. Security is also fine and specific time limits are also there. For outing or anything we need special permission to step out of the institute. Campus it's quite strict but also good for our safety as well.
 

Campus Rating
Fests were held annually which includes indoor games and outdoor games. Later on one fashion show also used to take place with few group and solo dance performances. We had a lot of fun during this time. Singing performance, comedy skits, etc. were also organised in between which really were very enjoyable. Yes, extracurricular activities are there like Rangoli making, art competition, soap carving, etc.
