Study with the Best Crowd at MNIT Jaipur

Overall Rating
I am currently in my 3rd year of doing B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering from MNIT Jaipur. It has been a good journey so far with some up and downs. In 2022, after giving my JEE Main and Advanced, I started searching for institutes. This institute was perfect fit for me, as it is among the best NITs in nation. It is not so far from my hometown, and is situated at a very good location.
 

Academics Rating
I chose this branch, as I was curious and passionate about it since my school time. CSE has a good scope in terms of career. For entering the institute, the student has to pass the JEE Main and Advanced and get a seat for eligible branch. The students get their seats through JoSAA counseling (after getting decent rank in JEE exams). Talking about exams, there are 2 semesters in a year. In each semester, there is a mid-term and an end term exam. The academics are also good to prepare the student for the placements, also give students some idea about what is actually happening, and required in the industry.
For most of the economically backwards students (family income below 1 Lakh), the tuition fee is nil. For students with family income of 1 to 5 Lakh, the tuition fee is Rs. 20,834 per semester. For students with income above 5 Lakh, the tuition fee is Rs. 62,500 per semester. For SC/ST/PH (irrespective of income) students the tuition fee is nil. The registration fee is Rs 1,000 per semester. Institute fee Rs. 18,500 per semester. Per Semester, total fee is Rs. 36,000.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty is also good in every department. There are around 10 to 15 professors in every branch. Most faculty members use PPTs to teach, as there are 2 projects in each lecture hall. The members are pretty approachable. Some professors are good and friendly. Some professors are new as well whereas some of them have experience of around 17 years.
 

Placement Rating
There is a placement cell in the institute. The cell tells about all the companies that are visiting for internships or placements via mail. Companies like Barclays, Arcesium, DeShaw, Deutsche Bank, and many more visit the institute every year. Placement was one of the reasons that I took admission here. Last year, the highest package went upto 60 LPA, whereas the average was 20 Lakhs. I am in the 3rd year and the companies are coming for the internships.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostels are above average in MNIT Jaipur. There are some hostels that are newly built have good infrastructure and facilities. But there are old hostels that need some maintenance work. The mess food is also above average. Girl’s and boy’s hostels are separate. There are 12 boy’s hostels and 3 girl’s hostels. Talking about timing, in time for the institute is 10 PM for the boys and girls. The girls cannot go out at night after that time, whereas there is no such rule for boys.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure is one of the best things about the institute. The institute is spread on a land of 300 acres and is very well maintained. On the downside, lecture halls and departments are pretty far for students and it becomes serious in peak summers and peak winters. So most students have opted for cycle for ease. The sports ground and canteen are good.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is good. The campus is huge to hang around. The institute is in the posh area of city in Jaipur. So it is near to malls, markets, and restaurants. There are 7 clubs in the institute. Every year, 3 main fests occur, that are Sphinx, Youth fest, and Blitzschlag. The crowd is also good. There are students from various backgrounds here. It has been a good time in the institute.

    I have almost spent 1 year there in the campus, it's good and nice environment, but the weather is too different from South India, but the campus is filled with lush greenery everywhere and is we well maintained. I chose this institute according to my ranking. For my ranking, there was no better institute than this. Nothing much different, it is as usual all NITs with same method of teaching.     You need to give JEE mains paper to get Bachelor of Architecture at MNIT Jaipur. Overall experience of college is very good. It is in great city with great campus of 317 acres. There are all facilities available in campus that a student may require. It is not situated out of the city rather it is in the heart of the city in Malaviya Nagar.
