MNIT Jaipur: Check Its AI and Data Engineering Program

I think choosing this institute is the best decision in my life. First of all I was interested in computer science Engineering. But unfortunately, I got Artificial intelligence and Data engineering in this institute. Now a days, AI is booming everywhere. That is why I chose this institute. They compromised in their branch and chosen other branches like Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanics. When I am in searching for institute many elders were said to take a low branch in top IITs or NITs. But this institute is so good in placements and environment even though it is so far I chose this institute because of this reason. As I thought this is the best decision ever in my life.

I am pursuing my B.Tech in MNIT Jaipur as an Artificial Intelligence and Data Engineering student. For getting seat in this branch and in this institute, I got 9873 AIR in JEE Main examination. Through my OBC reservation, I got seat in this institute. The faculty here is very good. We will have core classes in evening. There will be mid exams in one and half month after starting the academics. There will be two semesters for a year. The end semester will be really tough. We will improve our skills day by day here.

Actually for General student for pursuing B.Tech the tuition fee for a semester is Rs. 62,500. The hostel fee is Rs. 32,500 and there will be institute fee also, it is Rs. 20,000. So totally, It will cost entirely Rs. 1,15,000 for a semester without including our monthly expenditures. But fee will vary according to category. As my category is OBC, so for me the fee is Rs. 32,500 for hostel and Rs. 20,000 for institute and I have no tuition fee because I fall in below 1 LPA according to my family Income. The tuition will fee get remission for every semester. So I can afford because of the fee remission, Otherwise I can't afford the expenditures of my institute life. It is very good for me.

The faculty here is very good. They will prepare for the giving lecture before class time. The faculty will speak very nicely with all students. They will clarify all the doubts that students have. They don't scold students for asking doubts. I will also doubts for my lecturers. They will give all the possible abilities of solving the problems. In each class, there will be nearly 80 students. The methods of teaching are PPTs, blackboard and Online board also. These methods mainly depend on faculty’s convenience. Many motivational classes were being held by the faculty.

We all know that everyone will take the institute according to their placements mainly. As known to me the placements in MNIT Jaipur. The placements were gradually increasing yearly. The highest package for the last year is nearly Rs. 7 LPA and the average package for CSE department is nearly Rs. 18 LPA. As known to me, my 4th year institute students were almost placed. Almost all the students will get internship in their 3rd year of B.Tech. Some will get recruitment and some don't. But at last, this institute is providing 100% placements. Many companies like Google, HP, Amazon, Dell, Goldman Sachs, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, etc. At present, I am pursuing B.Tech and I am in 1st year, I am improving my skills for the placement.

MNIT Jaipur provides many hostels for the students. It is one of the old NITs now. We have many hostels. The hostels were given to students according to their pursuing year. The hostels for boys and girls are different. From now, I am talking for boys hostels. There will be 3 students in a room for 1st year students only. From second year onwards, it will provide an individual hostel room to a student. The food will vary according to the hostel. The best hostel food is from Hostel No 7. The hostel hygiene is good. They will provide breakfast, lunch snacks and dinner for a day. The hostel fee will be same for every student and it is Rs. 32,500 for every semester. The hostel rules were we would not be permitted to go out of institute after 10:00 PM and before 6:00 AM. My experience in staying this hostel is good. But according to my opinion, it will be good if they provide individual room for 1st year students also.

The institute is around 300 acres. For all the B.Tech students, the classes will held in there is a building named VLTC. It consists of largest conference hall in Asia. We don't need to buy any reference books at current generation. We have library for borrowing books, labs for chemical, Physics, Electrical, Electronics, etc. for practicals. All the e-books will be provided in PDF form. The institute is located in middle of the Jaipur city, so we can get whatever we want. we have big cricket ground, many volleyball courts, Badminton courts, Gyms, Clubs for many cultural sports, Kabaddi ground, Kho-Kho ground, Football ground, and soon. We have interred NIT events in all sports. We also have two canteens in our campus. We have many free side seeing places in the campus.

After completing the most terrifying exams like JEE Main, JEE Advanced and many other competitive exams, I am finally enjoying my life in this institute. The institute crowd is decent. I am enjoying all the culture of the students who came from different parts of the country. There are many clubs like debate club, ED cell club, drama club, dancing club, Robotics club, NSS, Communications club, Astronomy club, Aerodynamics club, and so on. We will be having many fests and events like Ganesh Chaturthi fest, Bathukamma fest, the biggest event is named ‘Sparx’ and inter-NIT sports event. I am enjoying my campus days in this institute.
