Overall Rating
The campus life at MNIT Jaipur is too good. Infrastructure wise, it is one of the best NITs, the lecture complex & labs are quite modern. The professors are good and the fests are great. Placement wise, it is decent because if you are willing to do the hard work and are lucky enough you will get a decent job. It provides various opportunities like exchange programs, scholarships for higher studies, etc. The Institute has signed MOU’s with Foreign universities as well.

Academics Rating
Academic wise, it can often be quite hectic sometimes not, depends on the branch. I have chosen Mechanical Engineering. To get admission in any B.Tech specialization, you need to give the JEE Main exam and appear in the JoSAA / CSAB counseling. There are 2 exams, i.e., mid term (30 marks) & end term exams (50 marks) and rest 20 marks are given based on quiz / attendance/ presentation /projects, etc. The courses are updated periodically and are very relevant with the industries.
The tuition fee for B.Tech course is around Rs. 50,000/- per semester. Rs. 32,000/- per semester is the hostel fee. If you have any EWS or SC / ST quota, the tuition fees are reduced to Rs. 20,000/- only.

Faculty Rating
Faculties are well educated and skilled in there domains. Most of them are very helpful and considerate. The faculties are most of the times very friendly with the students and provide various opportunities to them as well, like internships, projects, and research opportunities. There is also a teaching assistant program for students with CGPA greater than 8 to work under a professor & they are paid for the same.

Placement Rating
Placements in MNIT Jaipur are average. Many renowned companies take part in the campus drive of the College.

Hostel Rating
Hostel’ infrastructure is very good. The food is average but manageable. The best thing about the hostel is the rooms have sufficient space. You get single rooms for 2nd year onwards. The hostel rules are very lenient.

Infrastructure Rating
As I have mentioned earlier, infrastructure wise, it is one of the best NITs especially in North India. It has Asia’s largest Lecture Theatre Complex with classes having ACs, digital boards, and other amenities. The Institute offers sports equipment and grounds for Football, Cricket, Basketball, Lawn Tennis, Badminton, Kabaddi, Table Tennis, and other games. It has a computer centre. There is a very big library with a huge collection of books.

Campus Rating
The campus life at the Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur is good. There are 2 fests, one is the technical fest named Sphinx, and the other is the cultural fest names, Blitz. The fests usually follow a 3-day schedule for various events. There are many clubs available for students, which they can join as per their interest.

I have almost spent 1 year there in the campus, it's good and nice environment, but the weather is too different from South India, but the campus is filled with lush greenery everywhere and is we well maintained. I chose this institute according to my ranking. For my ranking, there was no better institute than this. Nothing much different, it is as usual all NITs with same method of teaching. The differences maybe is just campus and maybe placement cells.... Read Full Review
