First of all I want to clear one thing, whichever college you go, whatever course you take; it's one and only your responsibility to be successful in your future. Neither college nor the faculties are solely responsible for your future, they maybe play a part in your future but it's majorly your take. I studied Civil Engineering at LNCT Indore. Also stayed in private hostel, so I have pretty much good experience of LNCT. Focus and concentration plays a big role in your four year degree course of engineering. LNCT is average college which could be an exceptional with a bit of effort but still it's not that bad.

Academically LNCT is average. It can be better than what it is. They have midsemester exam and extracurricular activities for keeping students interest in their studies. The faculties should put more effort on how the knowledge could be applicable in today's market or industries. The syllabus feels kind of outdated as the technology has advanced a way ahead of LNCT syllabus. The college should update the syllabus after every certain period of time. This could be a drawback of LNCT, the syllabus.

Faculties at LNCT, few of them are highly educated and know the skill of teaching very well but some of them, even after having PhD degrees lack in teaching simple topics. I think LNCT can certainly do a lot better providing education if they handled this situation well. The college has semester pattern examination while also midsemester exams to keep up students updated with their studies. Various workshops and guest lectures are also arranged but they should increase the frequency of it for more challenging results. There also lacks competition between students of LNCT I suppose. Faculties should create challenging environment for students and encourage them to gain more and more from what they are provided with, this is the thing I think the college should adapt.

Good companies like Wipro, Infotech, TCS, Syntel, L&T Infotech, Byjus, etc. are called upon for recruiting students through placements. Though the process seems easy, getting placement in any of the companies is not easy. The interviews are hard and recruiters really inspect your talent and capability for the position. But the students at LNCT are not any less either. Every year almost 90% students get placed in reputed companies like Infosys and Wipro through the placement cell in college. Apart from recruitment interviews being tough and all, I believe if you truly love what you do, you're going to land something good on your plate. You'll easily break through the placement process if you solely focus and apply the knowledge.

LNCT Indore hostel facility are not exceptional but it is all the same as a private hostel. And because of that most students prefer staying in private hostels than the ones provided by college. The food provided by the college hostel is not that great and the rooms are also not in good condition. Staying in a private hostel would be a great deal for those students who want to stay in a hostel. Besides, the cost remains the same for either one of the hostels. The time spent in the hostel creates a great impact on one's mental health too. It makes them more independent in tackling different situations.

Infrastructure of LNCT is one of the positive aspects of it. Classrooms are big enough to fit a good amount of students. They are spacious, clean and well ventilated. LNCT Indore campus area is kept clean and well maintained as well. LNCT has no canteen but instead a mess. The food quality of the mess is average but hygienic though. The institute takes active participation in sports activities. Various tournaments are arranged in the college as well. The college provides best medical facilities for its students. Overall infrastructure is one of the aspects where I would recommend this college.

Who doesn't dwell on their college days and reminisce on old memories. College days are the best days in one's life, no matter what. LNCT certainly takes your experience on a certain level but if you can explore other options as well where education is given more importance. Not that LNCT doesn't focus on education but it's better to compare with other options as well. LNCT's campus is way modern and kept green. There are many spots inside the campus where you can hang out and just chill to take a break during lectures.
