Campus Life at Providence Women's College

Providence Women's College is a place where I, as a woman, grew in all aspects. It is a place, which is so beautiful, with luscious gardens, blossom trees, hundreds of butterflies and other wonderful and picturesque sceneries. The campus is so clean and well kept. It is a place filled with beautiful personalities and elegant feminine energy. All the programs conducted at the institution are fun and creative, just like the Literature fest, which is being planned and is going to unveil in the campus. I chose this institution in particular because of its high repute and academic brilliance. I can surely admit that the atmosphere of the campus is so calm and peaceful without any unnecessary chaos.

The course I chose is BA English Literature. It is my interest in literature and cinema that motivated me into enrolling into the programme. The eligibility was more than 1160 index mark in particular exams. The admission process was like that of any other college. Exams are conducted in every 3 to 4 months. My course pattern ensures the student's knowledge in the literature of the countries and communities that both shines through history and are marginalized.

The fees structure in my chosen course is semester wise that is Rs. 890. The SC/ST caste category only needs to give Rs. 20. The Department fund is around Rs. 500.

The faculty members teaching my course are brilliant in their major. I have not had a faculty with such progressive mindset and creative caliber. Their interactive teaching methods are highly effective and efficient. Their attitudes towards the students are so pleasant and respectful. All of the classes are highly informative. The programs organized and hosted by them go by with great success.

Placements are non-existent in my course.

I am not a hostler in Providence Women's College.

The campus is neatly organized block wise according to each department. Firstly, it's the English department at the entrance. Then comes the science block, platinum jubilee block, etc. There is a library is the biggest one I've seen in my life. Although my exploration only advanced from literature to politics, the library is filled with several informative books organized according to its category. The library is super spacious and bright. It is a 4 to 5 floored building. Canteen is big enough. There's a juice corner. There's a student-counseling centre as well. The butterfly garden is situated near the college church. There's also a botanical garden close to the Botany department.

My campus life is excellent. With my friends, I make sure that my campus experience is filled with youthful passion. The college crowd is peaceful and calm, without any unnecessary chaos and political aggression. College union is not politically elected, as politics is nonexistent. All the fests and events are motivated mostly by popular culture. All the events are colorful and fun, making the whole college experience wonderful.
