Choose PSIT College: Infrastructure, Placements, and More

According to my overall experience at PSIT College of Higher Education: I think it is best college in Kanpur and Northern parts of the country. It also has great infrastructure and good placement, well designed libraries, etc. Overall it's a great experience. Classrooms are also highly developed. We have supercomputers in the lab. Different types of computers are present here. I chose this college as I wanted to be in Kanpur and not relocate. This college has the best placement rate which is around 120% means approximately every student gets job and some of a students get more than one offer.

I chose this course because this is a Technical course which helps student to have better career opportunities in future. If a student does not have enough money and time than they can enroll themselves in BCA course. It is an affordable option in B.Tech. B.Tech offers variety of roles in technical field. The eligibility criteria to join the BCA course in PSIT are that you should have minimum 40% in 12th exam. For admission process you have to submit one online form which is available on website of the college and after that you have one interview. After the interview process the candidate needs to submit Rs. 20.000 to lock your seat. In every semester there is class arranged for test and assignment. At last one pre university exam is conducted. In colleges you also get trained with some personality training and communication skills which really help you in society.

The total fee for this course at PSIT College of Higher Education is Rs. 90,000. This includes all the fees. There is no extra charge for any other fees like book fees, exam fees, etc. In total you have to just pay Rs. 90,000. There is no discount in fees but some scholarship is offered to the ones who have household income less than 6 lakh per annum and they are not doing any government job

In my real experience, faculty members at PSIT College of Higher Education are average as they are not well experienced. They have good knowledge about study and have cleared all the Ph.D. sum of teacher are good and experience also but mainly the teacher is in age of 25 to 30. The teaching method is good as some use PPT, group discussion, etc. Practical classes are also arranged twice or thrice a week. There are lots of teacher for BCA. Some trainers are also there for training teacher-student. Bonding is so good like School where teachers ask every individual student for their problem. Talking of my bonding with faculty members is good. The teachers are kind and w\are always available to help the students and resolve their queries. They also made some groups. There is one mentor teacher for a group of 20 students who will help you and reach out to you in every problem.

Yes, there is a placement cell present at our college where all the companies come and take interviews and exams in order to select the best fitted student. During interview process the students sit together and give exams. Placement mainly happens in 5th semester. Some internships opportunities also come and students are selected for that as well. Some companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture visit to hire the students from our college. The highest package offered is 12 LPA while average package is 4 LPA. Since I am in 4th semester so I cannot tell you about my experience about placements.

I am not a hosteller but some of my friends are hostler so I can share little bit about hostel. They told me that hostel rules are very strict. They cannot go out of the college without permission of warden and girls also have to take permission from their parents. Food is fully healthy and good. Various types of vegetables are planted in college campus.

Infrastructure is magnificent. There is one Central library and one town hall. In town hall all the functions occur. It also contains some cafeterias. One is Nescafe and other. Canteens in the premises are, one is Central canteen and one is only for BCA students. The BCA classroom is fully developed and it consists of camera in each class. The capacity of each class is around 60 students. There are no rules. Anyone can sit with anyone.

My overall campus life is good. The minimum attendance criteria are 90% which you have to follow either you have to pay some extra penalty fees. There is a lot of fine. Overall the college is good. There are lots of events and functions that are organized there. These are organized in every 3 to 4 months. There is one annual function called ‘Ignetia’. There are also some clubs which are made for some groups. You can join any club according to your preference. Some clubs are, dancing club, music club, camera Club, photo shoot club, yoga club, gaming club, etc.
