SRKR Bhimavaram Admissions: Eligibility, Process

Firstly, I am so happy to join in this college. This college is established in 1980 in Bhimavaram Chinamiram. Compared to other institutes, it is the best college in all the ways like education, faculty, and activities and so on. I is pursuing mechanical engineering 3rd year. I feel there is no mental stress for students in this college. We can learn anything easily. we have faculty who clears every single doubt we have. May be this is the main reason to join in that college. Not only academics, this college also encourage us to participate in every event. Our Mechanical department is going to host many technical events as if we have gone Carting and Sancta only for mechanical department. During free time, we can go to automotive club where vehicles are designed by students with the help of faculty. I think SRKR Engineering College is the best college in Bhimavaram.

I chose Mechanical branch. As we all know, today's world is slowly becoming dependent on AI and in this branch, humans can work mentally and physically. That is the reason I am continuing in this particular course. Coming to entry and eligibility criteria, we should have required percentage in 10+2 and later write EAPCET. In the end, qualified students can take entry to this college. We should have our Family Income Certificate, Aadhaar Card, Caste Certificate, and some required files. We have to submit all our certificates. Admission process is not that much tough, it is easy process compared to other colleges. In every semester, we have 2 mid-sem exams, internal labs, external labs, and later final sem exams. Preparation for academic will help me in day-to-day challenges also.

Fee for my mechanical course is Rs. 70,000. It is to be paid in 4 terms means Rs. 17,500 in each term. Students are asked to submit Rs. 10,000 when we take admission here. There is semester exam fee of Rs. 1,500. there is no special discount for any category of students. Yes, there is scholarship, provided by government that is Rs. 70,000.

In our college, we have very good faculty. The faculty’s way of teaching is very clear and audible to whole class. They will explain every chapter-using blackboard. For our best, they also use PPTs. In our department, problem, solving ability of faculty is very best, clear, and easy to understand. Most of the students can talk freely to them. We have 10:10 ratio for the faculty and students in SRKR Engineering College. I have very good experience with faculty.

We have cell called Training & Placement Cell (T & P cell). They will pass the information regarding placement opportunities through WhatsApp or emails.

Yes, we have residential facilities. I am not a hostel but my friends told me that they have many rooms, students, and so on. There are separate boy’s and girl’s hostels. Mess food is hygienic and my friends are satisfied about their hostel life.

We have separate block for every department. There is also separate administrative block where scholarships, bus fee, and sem fee are collected and if there is, any issue in fees can be solved. We have sufficient classrooms and seminar halls for all departments. We have more seating arrangements than students do do. There is central library and separate departmental libraries for every department. In addition, there is open auditorium. Canteen is very good and all types of food are available there. My favorite place SRKR Engineering College is food court.

Our campus is very good. There is no so much of crowd. Our college has many clubs based on each specialization. Our mechanical department has automotive, AME, and IEI clubs. We have extracurricular activities like ‘Sancta’ where we conduct technical and non-technical events. Every year in March, we have annual day celebration. According to festival, it conducts events. I am fully satisfied with my college life. We have security everywhere in the campus.
