Fee Structure and Placement Opportunities at Nutan College of Engineering

Nutan College of Engineering and Research is pretty decent with great faculty. The main point of students getting admission is it comes under PCET cell which is biggest in Pune. They provide some decent placement opportunities and guidance to the students. The Faculty is good and very helpful. I got the college through CAP round in 2022. This college seemed fairly decent because of its affiliation with PCET.

The course curriculum is decent and covers important topics like Data Structures, DBMS, and Java, which are essential for tech roles. The faculty members do not focuses on practical and most of them just focus on theoretical aspects of studies.

The fee for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd year are same for open caste which is Rs. 90,000 per year. It can be paid in installment as well the is divided in tuition fee which is Rs. 65,000 and development fee which is Rs. 25,000 which amount to grand total of Rs. 90,000. For SC/ST there is absolutely no fee. For OBC there is concession of 50% in tuition fees. For management quota one has to pay Rs. 5, 00,000 donation and Rs. 90,000 per year with no scholarship at all.

The faculty in Nutan College of Engineering and Research is really friendly and approachable. They are strict in class but when needed they are friendly. All students are provided with all resources and materials for studying and also all previous year question paper are provided by the faculty. Passing the exams is relatively easy, one can pass with 2-3 weeks of study before exam it's not that though and average student can pass exam easily. Also, there are MCQ based remedial exam which is easily passable. For 1st year physics and chemistry faculty is very helpful and knowledgeable and also have best teaching techniques.

Nutan College of Engineering and Research do provide placement opportunities as our college comes under PCET cell which is one of the best cells in Pune. The placement starts at 7 semester i.e. start of 4th year. Placement rate was quite high before but has dropped significantly due to the recession. Some companies are Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, TCS, etc. almost 60-65 % students get placed. The average package offered is 4.5 LPA by mass recruitment companies.

The college campus is very small. The labs in our college are well equipped. It has all facilities like Conference hall, seminar hall, etc. Each class can accommodate 78 students. Library is well equipped and has all the required books and resources for the students and has enough PC to allow all the students to have separate PC. Library has all the necessary journal and reference books. They are all of i7 12 gen with no graphics card. The best thing about our college is the ground it is pretty huge compared to our college. Multiple sports can be played at once here. The park just in front of college is good for hanging out with friends.

There aren't many events held in Nutan College of Engineering and Research. There are only 2-3 main events in whole year. Sports day is conducted in February but it’s not a major event. There are no clubs in our college for now at least. Major event is Agaaz; it is a 5 days long cultural event.
