LPCPS Lucknow the Right Choice for Your BBA

If I have to give an overall review about Lucknow Public College of Professional Studies so it will be 6/10. The college has good people and great academics. I chose this college because I didn't have much knowledge about college and I wanted to complete my UG in Lucknow. I gave LU entrance and scored 321 but couldn't get LU so my second choice was this college. College is running alongside with a school and just 3-4 buildings are there in the college. Most of the students stop attending classes after 1st semester. Fee is decent and so is academics. Have no expectations for Internship or Placement from college. Only few companies show up. For BBA mostly customer service and sales job are offered. You have to manage so many rules which continue to change.

I choose BBA course at Lucknow Public College of Professional Studies because I wanted to do MBA and for that reason I got into this college, after not being selected by LU. You just have to pass 12th with any stream with at least 50% marks. You can take direct admission or you can select this college in choice while filling of LU entrance exam. Admission process is very easy just fill form of 500 and pay the fees that's it. Semester duration is of 4-5 months. Academics prepare you for only 30% for the real life challenges.

A BBA course fee is Rs. 38,500 for every semester exam fees. It increases every year also you have to pay Rs. 5,000 caution money which is Refundable. If you opt for book bank you have to pay Rs. 3,500 out of which Rs. 1,500 is refundable. Every year for fresher’s and farewell you have to pay Rs. 500. If you have scored more that 75% in 12th you will get Rs. 2,000 off, on 85% Rs. 4,000 is off and above 90% Rs. 6,000 is off. No financial aid is available and for scholarship from UP government if you are general or OBC, you'll get around Rs. 6,000 scholarship that's it.

Faculty at Lucknow Public College of Professional Studies is decent. Most of the faculty members are good and they are easy to talk to. Method of teaching is through projector and orally. No GD. Problem solving abilities of faculty I would rate 5/10. Teacher-student ratio is 2/30. I only have 2 nearly bonding with my faculties. Only those who know you are easy to approach.

Placement is average. Only few companies like, Tech Mahindra, Startek, and some sales companies or customer service companies are there for BBA with a 2-2.5 LPA placement. No internship is offered by the college. I didn't participate in placement drive because of further studies.

Yes, college does offer residential facilities for boys and girls. Boys and girls hostel are different. Mess food is good. Quality and hygiene is good. Hostel fee depends on type of hostel and rooms. For AC rooms it is above 1.5lakh and for Non AC it is around 1.2 lakh which you have to pay in 2 splits. Rules and timings are strict and fixed like every other hostel. I didn't stay in hostel.

Just 3-4 buildings with 4 stories are there in Lucknow Public College of Professional Studies with one canteen, one playground, one basketball court and some clubs. It is situated in Gomtinagar near Kathouta Jheel. Classrooms aren't Air conditioned, seating capacity is above 100. One library is there and few labs like computer and science. One conference room and one big auditorium are available. Canteen is not that good which an area of improvement is. Transport facility is available, security is good. For sports you have sports club and one playground and one basketball court. My favorite thing is ground where you can sit and talk with your friends take picture with them, etc.

Overall campus life at Lucknow Public College of Professional Studies is average. College crowd is decent. Yes, we have clubs like HS, E-Cell, AI, Alacrity, Dance, Sports, and Anchors. We have one annual festival, ‘Xenium’. Fresher’s and farewell events are there. Also lots of events are organized in college. My campus life is decent. Mostly I chose to meet and hangout with friends outside the college.
