Overall Rating
Fergusson College is quite good in teaching. The reputation of this college is also good. I chose to study here because its placement rate was better for my course. If you want, placement and experience good college life choose this college. It offers a practical based course. We have additional different subjects to choose like Animation, Economics, and many more so a student can follow his or her hobby also. This makes it different from other colleges.
 

Academics Rating
I chose this course, as I want to work in IT sector so this was most relevant course after Engineering. The eligibility is simple you have to pass 12th standard with PCM as your compulsory subject with at least 60%. For admission you have fill an online form. Then based on merit you will get your admission. There is one final exam in every semester and there are 2 semesters in a year. The course is quite practical so it can make you industry ready with little self efforts.
The yearly fee for this course is around Rs. 6,000. It can be increased or decreased. You can get scholarship based on your marks and category. SC and ST category students have discount in scholarship.
 

Faculty Rating
The teaching staff is experienced and good at teaching. They discuss things for practical purposes rather than just focusing on the theory. They also motivate student and try to make them industry ready also. My batch is decided into 2 divisions, and every division contains 80 students. As the student, number is more so the college has started a mentor program in which every teacher is given 10 students so that students can get individual attention.
 

Placement Rating
The placement in college is good. The companies like SAP visit for campus placements.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the college offers hostel facilities. However, I do not know many things about it, as I have not opted for hostel.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus of Fergusson College is really big. It is standing on 64 acres of land. The campus is filled with trees and greenery. The classrooms are spacious every course has its own department with spacious classrooms and good faculty and staff. It has 3 canteens with two messes in which you can have your food. Every department has its own library with course related books. There is also a main library in college. The college is in main area of city so there is no problem of transport.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is great with good environment and friendly people. You will meet students from all parts of India and also some from outside of India. It conducts guest lecturers to motivate student and engage them in other activities than studies. The college fest is quite popular the events like Spandan and Muktchhnad happen every year, which increases the cultural beauty of college.

    The reason I chose this college is because it is considered to be Pune's best college and it stands so. I like my college in all terms academic, non academic, and extracurricular.
