Kakatiya Institute of Technology & Science : My Views

Overall Rating
Kakatiya Institute of Technology & Science is a ragging free institute unlike other institutions. This is one of the reasons that made me choose this institute for my studies. This institute has separate blocks for every department, we have a spacious library where we could get all the books we want related to the subject. We also have a large canteen too and much type of food options is available there, that is made hygienically.
 

Academics Rating
I have chosen B.Tech in ECE, Electronics and Communication Engineering, as I had my interest in it. I've got the required rank to get this seat. We have two minor exams and two mid examinations, then the lab externals and then the end sem examination. After completion of one unit we'll have a minor, after completion of two units we'll have mids. The academics at Kakatiya Institute of Technology & Science really prepare us for real life challenges.
I'm a student that belongs to SC category, so I'm eligible for full fee reimbursement, so I just need to pay institute fees.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty at Kakatiya Institute of Technology & Science is very good. The teachers have a qualified degree; most of them have done their M.Tech from different institutes all over India. Everyone use ppts, blackboard too for better understanding. They could clear any doubt that pops in our brains. For every five students, there is a counselor that helps them in anything. The faculty is very open and friendly, they are more like parents.
 

Placement Rating
There are good placements in our institute, everyone here work really hard to get good placements.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, Kakatiya Institute of Technology & Science offers residential facilities for the students who come from other places. There are separate hostels for girls and boys. The mess food is very hygienic. No one is allowed to roam after 7 PM in girl's hostel; boys are not allowed to roam after 10 PM.
 

Infrastructure Rating
We have seven academic blocks, block 1 is for civil, block 2 is for CSE, block 3 is for EEE and Mechanical, block 4 is administrative block, block 5 is IT, block 6 is for ECE, and block 7 is I2RE. We have library too. The classrooms are spacious for a good 70 students with very good benches. We have well maintained labs, seminar halls, and auditorium. The canteen is also good. We have an indoor stadium too and a very big ground to play sports.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is overall very good, everyone are friendly. We have clubs like MDF for music and dance, PMC for photo and media, DISCO for disciplinary, NSS club, Literary club, etc. Every week we have an association hour. We have two fests that are conducted in our institute, Samshodhini and Sanskriti. Samshodhini is a technical fest; there are fun events, workshops in this fest. Sanskriti is the cultural fest of the institute where everyone eagerly waits.
