Overall Rating
The overall experience at Florence Nightingale College of Nursing is not that bad. The inclusion of community health nursing in the curriculum allows students to learn about preventive healthcare and public health initiatives. The clinical exposure in hospital associated with the college is great and huge. There are also postings at different hospital at upcoming years. Also, the hospital campus is really beautiful.
 

Academics Rating
The course includes clinical rotations and hands-on training in hospitals, enabling students to apply theoretical knowledge in real-life scenarios. The admission to Florence Nightingale College of Nursing is on the basis of NEET score. There are a total of 8 semesters in the course. 2 sessional exams occur per semester and a university exam by Delhi University occurs at the end of every semester. Academics are great and help us to maintain an interpersonal relationship with the patients.
Tuition fees + security fees = Rs. 8,000 per year, Hostel fee = Rs. 2,500 per year and Mess fees = Rs. 2,500 per month.
 

Faculty Rating
Many faculty members have years of experience in both teaching and clinical practice, ensuring they can provide practical knowledge along with theoretical concepts. The teacher student ratio at Florence Nightingale College of Nursing is 1:8. I have had a positive experience with the faculty members teaching the B.Sc Nursing course. They are knowledgeable, approachable, and always willing to provide guidance. Their teaching methods, both theoretical and practical, have helped me gain a deeper understanding of nursing concepts.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the college offers a government hostel. A single room is provided for stay of two students with appropriate size of room and a separate balcony. Hostellers enjoy the festivals by themselves. Girls and boys hostel are separate. Mess food is nice and has a wide variety. Hostel entry and exit timings are from 5:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Hostel fees is Rs. 2,500 per year. Mess fee is Rs. 2,500 per month. Accommodation of hostel is good and better than many other hostels.
 

Infrastructure Rating
College campus is not available. Hospital campus is the college's campus, as the college is situated in the hospital. Locality constitutes more of modern people and patient relatives. Classroom size is fine but the seats are too uncomfortable to sit. A Canteen with much variety and college's library is available. My favorite place in the college is Library where it is peaceful to study in the library environment.
 

Campus Rating
As I said, no campus is available but the associated GTB hospital campus is great. There are other social clubs from the college's side. There is just an anti ragging squad and sports club in the college. Events like Fests, fresher party and farewell is organised in the college. Fest occurs every year in the month of May and the fest is huge and associated with UCMS. Overall, the experience is good with the great clinical exposure.
