Overall Rating
The most fascinating thing about my college that attracted me was the environment and teaching culture .There is greenery all around the college providing fresh air and relief. Also the college provides variety of courses. I found this college best according to my merit rank in the course of my interest because this college has good infrastructure also the environment is too good. The college has good placement structure and many renowned companies visit to the college.
 

Academics Rating
I had chosen Electronics and Communication course in my college because my interest in knowing how all the data are integrated in small chip. The admission is based on merit rank which includes the marks you got in 12th boards and the GUJCET, it is also based on category. There are four exams per year that are 2 mid semester exams and 2 end Semester exam. Mid semester exam are conducted by college itself and the end semester exam is conducted by GTU.
The fees structure is like a government college. The tuition fees is Rs.6,000/- for my complete course. Per year tuition fee is Rs.15,000/- and there is also exam fee for the end semester depending on the how many subjects you have. I had five subjects and the exam fee was Rs.825/-. There is also scholarship provided to the students belonging to Schedule Caste and Schedule Tribe.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties are really good and their teaching style is also fantastic. The background of all the faculty is like some have done M-Tech whereas some had done ME. They all are highly educated. They teach on both, board as well as through ppt. whenever necessary. Their problem solving skills are also good including many different day to day life examples. The teacher student ratio is like 1 faculty teaches to about 64 -70 students. The bonding is like if you ask any thing relevant then they would definitely answer it and give you a direction.
 

Placement Rating
The renowned companies that visit our college for recruitment are Infosys, Infochip, Tata Consultancy Services, Torrent Power, Reliance, Hitachi etc.
The highest placement in my college of my course is Rs.21.00 lakh per annum and the average package is around Rs.4.00 to Rs.5.00 lakhs per annum.
 

Hostel Rating
There are 3 hostels in college campus 2 are boys hostel and one is girls hostel. There are 60 rooms in each hostel with 3 sharing in each room. Guards are provided at the gate of each hostel .Girls and boys hostels are separate. The mess is good but hygiene and quality of food is not maintained they provide 3 time food including breakfast, lunch and dinner. The hostel fee structure is like for 6 month the fee is Rs.1,265/-. There are time restrictions for girls of 9 pm. My experience is that, the hostel is good but the cleanliness and hygiene is not maintained properly.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The college is divided into different blocks based on departments. The campus is very large and there is greenery everywhere in the campus. The classroom size is like about 60 -70 student can easily get in. There is also facility of library, gym, different labs. The auditorium is in A block and also there is a student section provided in A block. There is Canteen in E block of the college. There is also badminton and volleyball court. College environment is most fascinating thing for me.
 

Campus Rating
The campus is good. The college is crowded during the regular days. Yes there are different clubs in our college, and the student has to achieve the score of hundred by playing games or by indulging in different activities. If student has made the hundred score till the completion of the course then only they are allowed to sit in placement. Yes festival are also conducted in our college especially during Navratri, Garba is played every night in the college. According to me the campus life till now is good.

    In Vishwakarma Government Engineering College, Ahmedabad, most of things are good such as hostel life, college life, average faculty, labs, and classes. In this college have decent placement cell as it provides placements to more than 70% students in on-campus placements so that is why I select this college.     The Vishwakarma Government Engineering College in Ahmedabad is best place for getting education as you will find most of all the engineering branches here. As the faculty here is very supportive and always ready for mentoring I found this college very enriching. It adds value to learning.
