My Journey at Gargaon College

Overall Rating
My experience of this college is good. I met so many friends in this college. I choose this college because it's near of my home and the college faculty members are good. Our college has 16 departments.
 

Academics Rating
I have chosen B.Sc course in Gargaon College. My honors subject is Physics. My friends encouraged me to take admission in this college. This college’s entry eligibility is, passed in last examination with 30 percentage marks. Admission process of this college is very simple. It is offline process. Gargaon College conducts one exam in a month. After six months it conduct final semester exam. Our college is under the Dibrugarh University.
The admission fees structure is around Rs. 5,000 for a year. Hostel fees and canteen fee is additional. The admission fee includes registration fees and other charges applicable.
 

Faculty Rating
The teachers are good. The most of the faculty members are graduate and Ph.D professor. Their method of teaching is old school type. The problem solving ability of the faculty members is average. The teachers of every department have five to six members. In my course the ratio of teachers and students ratio is 1:7 or 9. The teachers and students relationship is good. The Teachers are not rude with the students.
 

Placement Rating
No, Gargaon College does not provide placement opportunities to the students.
 

Hostel Rating
Gargaon College provides hostel facility. There are separate hostels for boys and girls.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The college campus is not so big. Gargaon College has 16 departments. Our college has one playground. Classroom has one black board and one white board and one ppt projector. Laboratories are attached with classroom. The college has one central library. The library has so many academic and non academic books. Our college has one canteen and it offers delicious food to the students. Also, there is a beautiful garden in the campus.
 

Campus Rating
I enjoyed and had a lot of fun with my friends during my college life. Various activities are organised in Gargaon College. Programs and different activities are held in the college every week. Sports and culture both events are held during the College Week. College Campus is a hub of learning and growth. The college campus is a vibrant and dynamic community that offers a unique blend of academic, social, and extracurricular opportunities. Campus life offers amazing experience. It has endless extracurricular activities.
