Fee Structure and Scholarships at SSSUTMS Bhopal

I completed my graduation in B.Sc (CS) from this university in the year 2019. The factor that made me choose this particular institute was that I was preparing for government exams at that time so I needed a university in which I could manage my preparation as well. Therefore, for that reason, I took admission in this university. If you are an aspirant who is preparing for any competitive exams, you can definitely take admission in this university.

The course that I chose while my graduation was Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Computer Science specialization. My motive for enrolling in this course was to get a graduation degree in science as I was from PCM background. The entry requirements or eligibility criteria to get admission in this university is quite simple. You just need to have minimum 60% in our 10th and 12th standard and you can easily get admission in this university. Talking about the frequency of exams, so there were 2 semester exams in a year in every six months. The academics prepared us for real-life challenges.

The fee for this course was Rs. 24,000 for a year. for a semester, it was Rs. 12,000. The registration fees, which I paid during the admission, were around Rs. 2,000. Apart from that, if you are from OBC, ST, and SC category, you can also get scholarship from the university. I was from OBC category but my parents were working in Government sector so I did not have any scholarship. In addition, you can get some discount in the university fee if you discuss with the management during the admission process.

The faculty members who taught us during our course were M.Sc or MA Graduates. The method of teaching was good. They normally use to take class on blackboards but during presentations, they used PPTs also through projector. The problem solving abilities of the faculty was decent not. The teacher to student ratio at the university in a particular class was 1:50. My experience & bonding with the faculty members was decent. They were helpful and cooperative. Whenever we want any aid from them, they used to help us.

Talking about the placements in SSSUTMS Bhopal. If you are, pursuing IS or B.Tech, then you can get decent placements from the university. For B.Sc. or any other graduation courses, you will not be able to get decent placements from the university. The highest package that B.E and B.Tech students got from this university was 11 LPA and the average package was 2.5 LPA. In addition, some of the companies that visit this university for recruitment were TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, etc.

Yes, the university offers boy is as well as girl’s hostels. However, as I used to go university from my home it so I did not live in the university hostel. My friends who lived in the university hostel shared the experience with me. The hostel is quite decent and safe for boys as well as girls. The girl and boy’s hostels both are separate. Both hostels have mess facility and the quality of food is decent. Talking about the hostel fee, it is Rs.12, 000 for a year. There are some rules regarding the entry and exit timings of hostel. His overall experience the hostel facility of this university was decent.

The infrastructure of SSSUTMS Bhopal was decent as it was vast. The environment of this university was also quite good. The campus also had different academic blocks like Engineering Block, Medical Block, and UGC Block. The classrooms of this university were good with quite sufficient for the student. The average students in a class were around 50. Apart from that, this university also had library facilities where you can get all of the books. The university had auditorium and conference hall as well for any event or university fest. The university also had canteen where you can spent some quality time with your friends also. my favorite thing in this university was campus playground, where you can different games like basketball, badminton, etc.

Overall campus life in this university is decent. The university crowd was decent. Now talking about the fests, this university organizes some fests like Techno Spark and Sports event normally in month of October and April. So, this is my overall experience in this university.
