A Student’s Perspective About Chandigarh Engineering College

Overall Rating
I joined this college in 2023. From my overall experience which I had grabbed from here I would say the college is good. The infrastructure, friendliness, experienced faculty members, environment of teaching and playing environment is also good in this college. I prefer this college for my higher studies because the cost of the course is low in compared to other colleges. It has small campus life but valuable surrounding and the overall experience about the placement is also awesome. There is also a friendly bond among the students and teachers.
 

Academics Rating
The course in which I have enrolled is B.Tech (AI&DS). It is the specialization course in which you grab the career in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence background. The entry requirements are you should have 60 percent marks in 12th in PCM subject and you can have the direct admission over here. In this college you have 2 exams per semester wise and it will be conducted by the government board PTU. The academic study is enough to get good marks in this college.
The fee structure at CEC Landran for my course is around per semester wise. right now it cost Rs. 66,150 per semester and the examination fees is cost per semester according to the system around Rs. 2,500 and the extra circular fees is charged according to the requirement. There is also the facility of scholarship regarding the student whose family background is not good and there is the discount on the tuition fees.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members in Chandigarh Engineering College are very cooperative and experienced ones. They provide the notes and even help you in your academics for your overall development. They provide you the handwritten notes and tell about the extra circular activities going around your campus. The student teacher ratio in the campus is around 40:100 with well experienced teachers. They help us in finding our life goal and the abilities which we are having inside us by mentoring us.
 

Placement Rating
The placement cell is present inside the campus which is named by the campus official (TPP). This department at Chandigarh Engineering College prepares the students for the industry and makes them confident. They examine you on daily basis and provide the reviews for further development.
 

Hostel Rating
Chandigarh Engineering College provides us the hostel facilities separate for both girls and boys. There are 5 hostels for boys and 2 hostels for girls with different price range according to the occupancy they want including the facility of food even the study room for the hostellers. The hostel fees for per semester including food is Rs 1, 20,000. The hostel timings for boys are from 6AM to 8PM and for the girls it is around 7AM to 6 PM according to the situation.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are total 11 blocks in the campus of different course and academics. The campus size is not too large, but it is enough for you to explore the college life. There are total 70 seats in per classroom. In each block there is one library situated that you can use any time for your studies. There is auditorium facility available in each block. There is facility of sports club and bus transport for the students in this college. The favorite thing which I loved most about this college is the friendly nature among the teacher and student.
 

Campus Rating
The overall campus life at Chandigarh Engineering College from my side is just awesome. Your college life will be full of enjoyment and studies here. There are total six clubs in Chandigarh Engineering College which will provide you the opportunity to explore yourself more. There are 2 annual fests in this college happening every year and it is just out of the box. The last review which I will tell you all is that prefers this college for your higher studies, and it will help you in your overall development.
