Overall Rating
This Institute is best in all aspects. Dr. D. Y. Patil Institute of Technology Pimpri gives you the best faculties as well as best placement for core branches. I am student of core branch and this institute is best for core branches in the Pimpri Chinchwad area. This Institute provides you best classrooms and institute campus. The institute provides you more practical knowledge than only theoretical knowledge which is the best thing. If you want to study in this institute just go for it.
 

Academics Rating
I am a Civil Engineering student. I want a government job and civil engineering gives you more opportunity in the government sector. The institute admission is done through the MHT-CET Score. If your CET Score is above average, you can easily get admission in this institute. The exams are conducted monthly by the institute.
The fee of my course is Rs. 1,03,500 per year. The tuition fee is Rs. 90,000, and the development fee is Rs. 13,500. There is 50 percent discount for OBC students. For the SC/ST category student’s fees is only Rs. 13,500.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties of my course are highly qualified. The teachers have done their Ph.D in their respective subjects. The teaching method is on blackboard and also projectors. The teachers are very helpful at DYPIET Pune. If students are facing some issues in topics, you can personally meet and understand the topic. The teachers teach one topic twice and thrice for better student understanding. The bonding of students and faculties is very good. You can approach them at any time. The teachers are available in institute between 9 AM to 5 PM.
 

Placement Rating
The Placement Cell of my institute is best. The placement cell of Dr. D. Y. Patil Institute of Technology Pimpri is managed by Dheeraj Aggarwal sir. The team is very helpful. The placement cell helps tech student as well as core students to get jobs. The companies like Infosys, TCS, LNT Mindtree, Capgemini, Cognizant, etc. visits every year and almost 80 percent students get placed every year.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, Dr. D. Y. Patil Institute of Technology Pimpri offers residential facilities. One hostel for boys and one hostel for girls are available. The hostel is quite expensive. The mess food is best quality. The annual fee of hostel is Rs. 1,80,000 for 3 seater room. The hostel is very strict about the rules and regulations. The hostel closes at 10 pm every day. If you want to stay outside, you have to get permission from the authorities.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus of Dr. D. Y. Patil Institute of Technology Pimpri is small but the institute management is good. They plant many trees in campus. The campus has three buildings which are 8 floors tall. Some other buildings are also developing. The classroom is large in size which can accommodate 100 students at a time. Every class has only 70 students. Institute has one central Library which is very big and library has every book related to engineering. Every department has their own labs. The institute has big canteen. The institute gives you the best labs which is my favorite thing. My institute doesn’t have their own ground.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life of Dr. D. Y. Patil Institute of Technology Pimpri is awesome. The institute crowd is best. The seniors are very supportive. There are so many clubs in the institute. Every department has their own clubs. I am part of NSS club and this club helps the needy people. We clean the historic places near our area. My institute organizes fests every year. The annual fests are in March and April months. The events of my institute are very big. The events of my institute are the main attraction for the students.

    I had a great experience in Dr. D. Y. Patil Institute of Technology aka DIT. Honestly speaking, I did not choose this college.
