LNMI Patna Admission Process for BCA

I was a BCA student of 2021-2024 batch in LNMI Patna. My overall experience in this institute was quite good. It has very good & well-educated faculty of every field. I had chosen this institute because it was the best in Patna for BCA. It has most upgraded and well-designed computer labs. The course curriculum was also up to date. What makes this institute different from others is its education and disciplined quality.

I was interested in the field of Computer Application and technologies so I chose this course. To get admission, you have to clear entrance exam conducted by institute itself. The entrance exam is a computer-based test that will be conduct in the institute premises. Based on the merit, the students will be selected. There will be one mid-term exam and one semester exam. Both will be conducted in the institute. As I said, the syllabus is up to date so it can make you ready for jobs if you can do little hard work.

If I talk about the fee of BCA in the session 2021-2024, it was a total of around 1 Lakh (for General & OBC students). The fee should be paid in three installments. First installment should be paid at the time of admission. Second installment should be paid before the exam of first semester and last installment should be paid before the exam of second semester exam. The examination fee of Rs. 3,000 should be paid for each semester exam. The special discount of 50% is there for students belonging to SC/ST category. State Government also provides scholarship for students namely ‘Bihar Post Metric Scholarship’ and It was around Rs. 8,000.

All the faculties are well qualified. Many of them hold PhD degree in their specialization. The faculties are very good experience in their field. Some teacher use blackboard and some use smart board. The classrooms have both boards. Teachers have good problem solving ability. In a class, there are 50 students. Therefore, the ratio would be 1:50. The bonding of faculty and students is very good. They will help you in solving the doubts outside the classroom and students can even reach them using WhatsApp.

There is a dedicated placement cell at the institute. The placement cell organizes regular industrial visits to make students industry ready. Many renowned companies visit this institute and some of them are HDFC Bank, Bandhan Bank, Airtel, Reliance Digital Mart, and many more. The average package offered was around 4 LPA and the highest was around 12 LPA.

There are no hostel facilities in LNMI Patna campus.

The campus area of the institute is quite good. There is academic block, administrative block, and technical block in the institute. It is located in one of the prime location in Patna that is Bailey Road. There is a seating capacity of 50 to 60 students in the classroom. There is a big library in the institute with huge collection of books for every field. It has well furnished and most upgraded computer labs. The institute has a seminar hall. Computer labs and institute cafeteria were two of my favorite places.

My overall campus life was quite interesting. In BCA & MCA, there were 100 students (in each) and in MBA, there were around 300 students including all the branches of MBA in 2021-2024 batch. There were no clubs in the institute. However, from time to time, LNMI Patna organizes various extracurricular activities like sports, film fest, and so on. Newly admitted students were given fresher party. In addition, the final year students were also given farewell party.
