My Personal Views on Inderprastha Dental College & Hospital

Overall Rating
Inderprastha Dental College & Hospital is a good college with good environment. All the facilities are provided here, be it highly skilled faculties that help in gaining quality education or patient load for practical experience. It's nearest to Delhi, fee is affordable according to the degree, transport is available easily, and the teachers are cooperative too. There’s committee for various purposes. Research work also done here. There are many competitions and workshops in college. Freshers and convocation is also held every year.
 

Academics Rating
I've chosen BDS degree and I want to pursue my career in medical field that's why I chose this course. I attempted for NEET and got above passing marks i.e. is 50%, which is basic requirement for this course. Then counseling is held where you can choose your desired college but I did pre-booking in this college. Three internal exams held and one final exams
Total Rs. 3,10,000 plus Rs. 30,000 is to be submitted in first year (admission & security fees). Then, for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th year, it is going to be Rs. 3,10,000. Final year is dedicated to the internship, therefore no fee is taken. Other than this, there is examination fee ranging from Rs. 7,000 to 13,000, depending upon your chosen subject. There are other charges for dental instruments as well.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties are good with highly skilled in their field and are renowned too. They are very cooperative and sometimes strict too but this profession needs discipline and strictness. Each department has 8 to 16 students because postings are divided into departments and 3 to 4 teachers are available. They teach through blackboards, PPTs, and group discussion through practical work. Oral knowledge tests are also taken.
 

Placement Rating
Placements are less and only top students get the placed.
 

Hostel Rating
There are hostels for girls, boys, and faculties with proper mess facilities. Hygiene is properly maintained. There are timings for going outside of college premises. Fee for hostel is nearly Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 80,000.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure is not that huge since Inderprastha Dental College & Hospital only has a Dental college campus. Lecture halls are huge with AC and smart class. Library is also there with every book, journals, etc. There’s canteen with sitting area. Department are properly maintained. Medical facilities are also provided by the college. My favorites are departments because they are properly functioning with every facility.
 

Campus Rating
Overall campus life is good. Since it's a medical field, you won't have too much free time as you are busy in patients, assignments, and everything but if you've good company it'll be good. College crowd is good. There’s no ragging and seniors are helpful. There's fresher’s and convocation every year. Sports day is also there which is of two days.
