Dr. K. V. Subba Reddy Institute of Technology: Good Choice for B.Tech

Overall Rating
As I expected the institute infrastructure was good. The availability and the reputation of Dr. K. V. Subba Reddy Institute of is Technology is great in our city and the faculty is all experienced. This institute has every dedicated lab and workshop for performing different practical and they give us more time on practical studies than theory which we cannot find in any other institutes.
 

Academics Rating
The course I choose was CSE in Dr. K. V. Subba Reddy Institute of Technology. This is the most demanding course in market and in our institute and this course have the entire best faculty and facilities then other courses. The entry requirements is you can have an EAMCET rank or management for free seat you need to get below 90000 rank. We just need to give our intermediate mark sheet and some documents. There is one sem in 5 months and 2 mids in it. They teach us every bit of practice on industrial work.
The fees for CSE are around Rs. 1, 30,000. There is no amount collected while taking admission except CRT fee which is Rs. 10,000. Yes, state scholarships are offered to the students at Dr. K. V. Subba Reddy Institute of Technology.
 

Faculty Rating
We have totally 8 to 9 teachers for a class to teach us. All of the teachers are doctorate and have done a PG in their specific courses The teachers teach on blackboard and projector is rarely used. The problem solving abilities is good but not best. The student’s teacher’s ratio is 60:1. Yes, the faculty and students bonding and relationship are good. Teachers are friendly we can approach them without any hesitation and they talk to us nicely.
 

Placement Rating
Yes a placements cell is present in the Dr. K. V. Subba Reddy Institute of Technology and various companies come every year to hire us. Yes, the faculty there teaches us how to perform in an interview. The hackathon group of our institute got the highest package. Companies like Zomato, Myntra, TCS, etc. visit the institute for hiring students.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, we have hostel for boys and girls. There are 2 hostels with all facilities. The boys and girls hostel are separate at Dr. K. V. Subba Reddy Institute of Technology. The food is good and made in hygienic way. The hostel fee is Rs. 60,000 per year. We should come inside hostel before 6 pm.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Campus size is more than 4 acres and is located in Dupadu. The classroom is wide and has space and good ventilation but the fans sometimes don't work. We have a big library which has more than 40,000 books and seminars hall. The canteen is not good. They overcharge and the food is not that good. The security is good at the campus. My favorite place is the grounds where we can sit under trees and enjoy the nature.
 

Campus Rating
The overall all campus life is good. The institute is little bit crowded sometimes. There are some clubs for sports and many more. I haven't taken part in any of the clubs. We have extracurricular activities for every festival organised by our institute. There is a fresher party every year and there are no other fests besides that and we have a traditional day which is only for girls. My overall experience is good and the campus life is also good.
