BCA and BBA Courses at Sherwood College

My experience in SCPM Lucknow is average. I chose this college through the recommendation of my cousin who got 3.5 LPA package in 2nd year of BBA from here. There is nothing special in this college but you get a proper environment of study. In this college, you get a small ground and a small canteen. You get a facility of hostel also.

There are few courses like BBA, BCA, and B.Com. I chose BCA because my interest is in computer field more but if your want to do BBA, this college is one of the best management college. Here you get a direct admission or by CUET exam. You have to give an internal exam and one final semester exam. In 1 year, you have to give two semester exams and two internal exam. In academy teamwork and management is good in this college. All are supportive, encouraging and provide you best pure guidance.

You have to pay Rs. 55,000 in first semester, Rs. 35,000 in second semester and in all the rest semester, you have to give Rs. 35,000 only. If you talk to the HOD of management team, you can get a concession. You can fill scholarship in which all your fee can be refunded but criteria depends upon minimum family income or not being ward of government employee. In this college, you can pay fee in installments also.

In this college, the faculty members are very supportive. In BCA, there are 4 to 5 members in the faculty team. All are very supportive and encouraging in nature. All are well qualified, having many years of experience and relevant degrees. They have very good problem ability.

Placement depends on your marks of academics, experience, skills, and behavior in the college. The marks directly affect your placement. For example, if you have any kind of back in any subject, you have to face problems during the placement. The placement team makes sure that students are prepared the interview. They will guide you throughout your grooming process over how to speak and how to give answers in a proper way. Some companies like Infosys, TCS, Wipro, and HDFC Bank come for the recruitment process. The highest packages 8 LPA. The minimum package is 2 to 3 LPA. You can also get a chance of internship in 2nd year or in 4 semester.

Personally, I don't live in hostel but one of my friend live in hostel so I have idea of hostel. Fee of hostel is around Rs. 70,000 per semester. You get mess facility in this fee structure there are separate boy and girl’s hostel. The food is average. Hostel rules are very strict. You get your food in time. The overall experience of hostel is moderate.

The campus is very small. You get a very small ground and small canteen in classroom. There is well furnished benches and big white board in each class along with other basic amenities. You get a facility of library, seminar hall, auditorium, conference hall, etc. You can play sports during your free time in the campus ground. The infrastructure of SCPM Lucknow is good.

Campus life is basically very busy. You will have no idea when 6 months of semester vanished in college. You get a few parties or tours where you can enjoy, in every department, there are around 40 to 50 students. The college organizes fresher’s party, Dandiya night, Diwali night, etc. for the students that is paid. That means you have to pay some amount of money in order to be part of these kind of events and activities in the college. The overall experience in this campus is quite studious.
