Galgotias University: A Dream University

Overall Rating
Overall, the university is good in terms of both infrastructure and the academics but someaspects need to be improved. The placements are top notch here. We also have many seminars from industry experts here at Galgotias.
 

Academics Rating
The academics are very good at this university. The eligibility criteria is 75% marks in 12th board exams. The exams happen in every 3 months and there are tests, which are taken every week. The curriculum is really industry relevant and updated.
The fee for tuition is Rs. 1,55,000 and the fee for hostel is Rs. 1,55,000. In addition, there is an exam fee of Rs. 14,000.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty is also well qualified here at Galgotias university. We do not face any severe problem. Their teaching method is allotting of advanced teaching using PPTs and real life problems. The problem solving ability is also very good. We have a very good bonding with all the teachers. Most of the faculty is post graduated or has a PhD in their specified field so they can be called an expert.
 

Placement Rating
The placement here is also top notch. The placement cell is supportive here. They help a lot in getting better and better jobs. There are a lot of placement drives and internship opportunities. The highest package was 1.5 CPA last year and the average was 10 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
The girls and boys hostels are good. Hostel gates close at 8 PM. I have a good experience here at this university. The mess food is quite good and we get it prepared with great hygiene.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The academic blocks are huge and have spacious classrooms. The seating capacity is of 70 students in each classroom. The library is a little short but has all the books we could possibility need. The canteen food is very delicious and medical staff is well qualified. The transport buses are good and run every now and then. There are projectors in every class so that we can interact better.
 

Campus Rating
The overall campus life is very good. The crowd is too much. There are many clubs so you can do your co curricular. The campus life is very enjoyable here in Galgotias and I enjoy it a lot here. It is the best experience being here.

    There are many reasons for which I joined this university. The university is located in a quite great place when it comes to getting technical and work exposure. Delhi is really close and many travelling places are close by. Also, fests used to happen but now they are all declining both in quantity and quality.
