Vignan's Institute of Information Technology is an autonomous institute affiliated to JNTU Vijayanagaram and it had NAAC A+ rating. The atmosphere in this institute is quite friendly. You can see plants, greenery everywhere around the campus. Our institute has library which will be working outside of institute timing and also mess and canteen for students with reasonable prices. Our institute’s academic are well designed by senior most faculties like time table, seminar halls, labs, etc. This institute has good infrastructure and the first years get separate block not get mixed with seniors and it is ragging free campus. No one dares to do ragging within the campus.

The course that I have chosen is Data Science. It is specialisation in Computer Science. Our institute teaches us not only the computer science subject but in the first year it teaches’ about basics of all other branches like BCME and BEEE with good lab facilities. Our institute also has computer labs on each floor and they are in working condition. The faculty for Computer Science and specialisation of Computer Science are well trained, who came to teach here after many years of job experience and teaching experience.

The fee at Vignan's Institute of Information Technology is Rs. 68,500 for convener quota and for management it is about Rs. 8,50,000 for a total of 4 years. Institute provides hostel and its fee is about Rs. 95,000.

The faculty for Computer Science and other specialisations of Computer Science branches are well trained. They have a minimum of 10 years of teaching experience and job experience in various IT fields and can explain clearly. The faculty for core branches is also well trained and very professional in terms of teaching. Some of the faculty members have degree in IIT and NIT. The faculty is very friendly to students and conducts hands on sessions with everyone in seminar halls for any queries and problems.

When it comes to infrastructure the first year get a separate block than other seniors. The first year block has itself the labs necessary for that semester subjects like BCME Lab, BEEE Lab, Engineering Drawing Hall, Chemistry Lab, Physics Lab, etc. The first year blocks also have computer labs for each floor and the first year block itself have a store from where we can buy our items like books, pens, records and food items.

When it comes to campus life the students are divided into two batches having different timings. Some of them come at 8 o'clock in morning and some of them come at 10 o'clock in morning and goes out of the campus at 3 o'clock and 5 o'clock respectively. The crowd is comparatively less in campus but during the lunch time the canteen and mess gets a little crowded.
