SIRTS is Superb!!

Overall Rating
Our college is amazing as firstly I would appreciate the kind of fees that the college charges. Secondly it's our locality, and finally the rankings. So, all the external factors are check listed and talking about college internal factors like college faculty, course and infrastructure, they are also top class. The practical and other stuffs of our college are also innumerable and therefore overall, I would rate my college as one of the best in our region.
 

Academics Rating
CSE is top branch of our college and therefore only the top candidates get it. There is also a thing called early bird that and students who come first and apply get CSE as there's a proper cut off and those who make it through are the ones who get admission in CSE branch of SIRTS. Our course is also excellent as we have around 6-8 units in each subject and from internals to final semester everything is discussed in our classrooms or labs at least twice.
At SIRTS no matter which engineering you pursue the fees is stagnant and that is Rs. 55,000 a year. The state run scholarship schemes for reserved which is easily available as a lot of my OBC friends in my class get Rs. 28,000 back as refund, meaning 50% scholarships for them.
 

Faculty Rating
It may sound exaggerated but if we are absent for 2-3 days on a trot, the HOD calls us and ask whether you are okay or not. So not just class faculties but even HOD is concerned about our attendance and performance in every semester. Talking about the teaching faculty, they all are quite adept with their teaching method and they hardly rush through the syllabus and unless and until they are sure that the students have get a fair idea, they don't easily proceed further.
 

Placement Rating
A lot of headroom for improvement is still available as mass placements happen but not at a significant packages are offered. Prominent companies like TCS, Wipro and others are among the ones that are conglomerate and comes for placements. They are quite happy to select us for placements.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Campus is good and so is our three floored academic block where 1st and 2nd year classrooms are conducted. The library is at the top floor and is digital so one can know the availability before searching for books. Classrooms aren't air-conditioned but library is quite peaceful too. Sports facilities are in SIRT section but both the colleges of the campus have their own canteens and students of SIRT and SIRT-E can access both the canteens too.
 

Campus Rating
Sage Utsav which is our annual fest is amazing. Since, MP also has started celebrating and promoting Navratri on a large scale. Our college also organizes two days Navratri nights at the campus. Clubs and societies are entirely in student’s hands and I think it needs more participation as they aren't doing that well currently. College crowd is quite good and a lot of students bonding programs are also organized but college societies still need to get more active.
