Life experience at a Medical College

Overall Rating
St John's Medical College is big with amazing infrastructure. It has hostels for both boys and girls. It's ranked among top 20 medical colleges in India. The faculties are very helpful and very knowledgeable. There is a Library open 24*7 with large amount of books present. The labs for each and every department are equipped with hi-tech equipment and large number of instruments. Teachers are kind and patient and they help us in our day to day life.
 

Academics Rating
I wanted to become a doctor so I chose St John's Medical College which has very beautiful campus with real time exposure to patients. It has large number of playgrounds with hostel and mess for both boys and girls separately with gym and garden. The surroundings are filled with greenery with large numbers of trees. For each and every sport there are grounds like four grounds for football, two for cricket, one for badminton, 4 for tennis, etc.
Per year the fee at St John's Medical College is Rs. 8,00,000 excluding hostel and mess fee which are Rs. 50,000 each.
 

Faculty Rating
There are various departments at St John's Medical College like anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, orthopedic, pediatric, anesthesia, gynecology surgery, pathology, microbiology, pharmacology, general medicine, etc. Each department has several faculties with class for each and every department and equipment's with knowledge and experience. There are 150 students in each class. The bonding between teachers and students are amazing and it feels like home. They are very kind and helpful. They teach us using PPT only which is good.
 

Placement Rating
After completing college we have to do internship.
 

Hostel Rating
We get personal room in hostels provided by St John's Medical College.
 

Infrastructure Rating
St John's Medical College’s campus is huge with vast infrastructure and so many recreational structures and cafeteria with food drinks and all. There are saloon, Xerox place, etc. There are large numbers of sport grounds for football, basketball, volleyball, tennis, badminton, cricket, etc. There is also a gym for both boys and girls separately. There is a garden present where one can chill. It also has an utility complex where we get variety of food, snacks and juices.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is amazing with many things to do. We have a fest called ‘Autumn Muse’ where large number of colleges participates and there are cultural events also. We have inter class sports and inter class cultural events where each batch takes part and awards are given. I am enjoying my college life which is amazing. It is Extraordinary, fantastic and lively. The weather is also good throughout the year.
