Aerospace Engineering at Alliance University Bangalore

The overall experience in Alliance University is very good for me. I met a lot of new people and I developed a lot as a person. When I look at myself in first year and now I know and I can see how much I have changed. I chose this university for further studies that I am planning on as the university provides lots of resources for that. Others should go for it too if they are planning for the same. The best thing that I found in this university is exposure. You get to learn a lot of things as there are people from all around the country as well as world.

The fee is Rs.1,60,000 per year in tuition fee and Rs. 1,40,000 per year in hostel and extra Rs. 1,00,000 for miscellaneous & personal expenses. If you pay your fee early, you get a 20% discount and also if you have played in Nationals you get scholarship of 10% as well.

The faculty members are very friendly as well as supportive. Mostly, all of the faculty have a PhD/Doctorate in their respective fields. The teachers mostly use PPTs or blackboards when they explain the subject. The faculty members are very smart and have very good problem solving skills as well. The teacher student ratio is around 1:10 and varies for other departments. The teachers are very friendly and very approachable as well and are very friendly.

The placement exists in the university but it is not that active. It does get companies and industries for placements but the CTC is pretty average compared to other universities. The university conducts various Career development as well as skill assessment programs. For my course, the companies that frequently visit are Agni Aerospace, Skyroot Aerospace, and Fluidly Technologies. The highest package offered was 9 LPA and the average is around 5.5 LPA. I am still at the end of 3rd year so i did not get to the stage of placement yet.

Yes, the university provides hostel facilities. The time at hostel was very so much fun. There is no nightlife due to the restrictions in hostel timings.

The university has very good infrastructure and a well round campus filled with greenery. The campus is of 50 acres without the hostels and the locality is good as well very calm and pleasant. The classrooms are very well ventilated as well with around 60-student capacity in each classroom and seminar halls with more than 500-people capacity. The academic facilities are very good as well as if the labs are well equipped and has good opportunities for research as well. The sports grounds such as basketball, football, cricket, and tennis are very well built. Although, the canteen is pretty costly but the food is verified for tasty and quality. My favorite place at Alliance University is football ground. In my course, we have a wind tunnel as well as a simulator as well

My overall campus life was very good. Most of the university crowd is pretty friendly but some people are mean. The university has various clubs related to various extracurricular activities. I myself am part of the football club, Aero-Mech Club, and space SAT club. The university primarily has two main fests: Alliance Literary Fest and the Alliance One. The campus life is very nice.
