Overall Rating
I have had a very good experience in Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology Kottayam. The factors that influenced me to choose this Institute are its good performance in academics and also the discipline that they follow in the academic year is just great. The Institute is different from other Institutes because of the academic and good behavior of faculties towards the fellow students. Also Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology Kottayam is situated near my home so I have a good knowledge about its history.

Academics Rating
The course I have chosen is Bachelor of Technology degree in mechanical engineering. The eligibility criteria for the enrollment here are passing Kerala Engineering Entrance Examination (KEEE). The admission process is through the engineering portal of respective candidates. The frequency of exam conducted is within 2 weeks gap. There will be an internal examination and also after six months at the beginning of each semester. There are also Institute examination and respective lab external examination.
The fee for my chosen degree at Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology is about Rs. 65,000 including the tuition fee and lab fee, etc.

Faculty Rating
There are about forty to fifty faculty members in each department. Both of them are highly qualified and the most Important member has fellowship in various research fields. Many of the faculties are passing out from Indian Institute of Technology's and National Institute of Technology's. So they all have that certain standard in their teaching methodology. The teaching methods are mainly by using PPT and lecture notes that they have provided. There problem solving ability is just outstanding.

Infrastructure Rating
Around total eight different departments are available in our campus that provides specified degrees. The academic blocks of each department are well maintained and each classroom has around eighty students. Campus size is around eighty nine acres. Also each department has their own Libraries and seminar hall where the seminar presentation is done. Also total three canteens are in our Institute. There is a specified space for physical education.

Campus Rating
My overall campus Life is excellent. There is well arranged study environment and each department is filled as per the allotted vacancy. There are clubs for participating in different programs which is very useful in Institute life. An extracurricular activity like Ritu is organized by the Institute and there are fests and events for each department which are conducted all year. My Campus Life is good. There is no raging between students so the environment is peaceful and likeable. The campus Life is good.
