RGIT Kottayam: Institute of Hopes & Dreams

Overall Rating
The overall experience in RGIT Kottayam is very awesome. It is one of the best institutes in Kerala after KTU. Each department has its own separate building block. We have separate library block. The library has a well stock of books and journals.
 

Academics Rating
The course chosen by me is Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering. The entry is completely based on Kerala Entrance Examination of Engineering (KEAM). Those who pass the two papers of Science and Mathematics will get a rank in the examination and further procedures of allotment are fully through KEAM portal. The frequency of exam is around two weeks and after six weeks there will be an end semester exam.
The fee is around Rs. 75,000 only for completing this course. This includes all the other charges like tuition fee, lab fee, etc.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties are well qualified and most of them are pass outs of many prestigious institutions like IITs and NITs. Many of them have Doctorates in research field. They have also published many research papers, research journals, etc. Most of the faculties are friendly in nature and also withstand with ourselves if any problems or issues came. Their problem solving abilities are excellent.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of RGIT Kottayam is just outstanding. The campus size is around ninety-nine acres. There are separate libraries for each department and centralized library for the whole campus. There are two canteens and one ground for the purpose sports and events. The favorite thing in my whole campus is the institute ground because I spend all my free time there. The classrooms have high quality facilities like projectors, smart boards, etc.
 

Campus Rating
The overall campus life is just outstanding. There are many events conducted in our campus. Many extracurricular activities like RITHU and KELI in our campus. These are the cultural and tech fest of RGIT Kottayam. There are different clubs like literature, sports, arts, and sciences, dance clubs, which also has conducted many extracurricular activities.
