Overview of BIET Jhansi

Overall Rating
Bundelkhand Institute of Engineering & Technology is affordable and the fees are low. I chose this Institute because I wanted CSE and this was the only Institute where I was able to get computer science. This Institute comes in top 3 under UPTAC but it has average infrastructure.
 

Academics Rating
I chose CSE because this is the most demanding course of this decade. The eligibility criteria to get admission at Bundelkhand Institute of Engineering & Technology in this course and Institute are through JEE main and UPTAC counseling. You should be under 60,000 rank if you are from other state and 70,000 if you are domiciled with 50 + percentage in class 12th board. In first semester you will have two CT, 1 semester exam and one practical exam.
The fee structure of Bundelkhand Institute of Engineering & Technology for first year is Rs. 56,000 and the mess fee is Rs. 16,000 per semester and Rs. 32,000 per year. If you are from UP domicile and your father's annual income is less than 2 lakh then you are eligible for scholarship which will return your whole fees that you have paid in while your admission and for SC / ST is more than 1 lakh.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties in Bundelkhand Institute of Engineering & Technology are highly educated. They have done their undergrad or masters or Ph.D from IIT and well reputed Institutes. There teaching method is good but they use blackboards. Some of them are very strict and they don't allow us to give exam if our attendance is less than 75%. The problem solving ability of faculties is good and the student and teacher ratio is 1:20. We can make a close Bond with the faculties if we want.
 

Placement Rating
The placement of Bundelkhand Institute of Engineering & Technology is average. The highest package goes 20-50 LPA, the average 4.5 LPA and the lowest is 1.6 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostel at Bundelkhand Institute of Engineering & Technology is good for first year students. You will get 3 seater hostels but the bathroom is not good sometimes. The water facility and food are mediocre. The cost of the hostel is Rs. 9,800 for a year. The overall fee including the mess and is approximately Rs. 32,000 for a year that is Rs.16,000 for a semester.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of Bundelkhand Institute of Engineering & Technology is average as it is a bit old fashioned. The buildings are old and it is full of forest. The Institute covers around 300 acre of land in which only one fourth has building and all remaining area is full of forest and grass & trees. We have student activity centre and Central playground too. The sports facilities available include basketball courts, volleyball court, etc. The sports culture is good. You also have a library and there are canteens in every hostel and a general canteen for all hostels.
 

Campus Rating
If you want a good Institute lab then you can pursue this. It has decent qualification. You can take admission here as Jhansi is a tier 3 city. There are no clubs outside. There are various canteen in the hostel area. If you are in first semester and you are a traveler than you can easily explore whole city in a single semester. There are not that much events conducted but there are some events where you can enjoy your Institute life like Fresher Party, Innovanza, etc.

    Overall review about BIET college is good. If student not get any NIT and IIT that college is good for choice as this college comes on 3rd number in AKTU. And also placement wise it is not as bad as compared to other colleges if you have courage to do hard work then BIET helps you a most to getting good placement. And also you getting enough time to do preparation of government exam, GATE, and any field where you want to go you get enough time to upgrade yourself. So yes, overall review is good....     Decent college as compared to other AKTU colleges. I think if you are opting AKTU colleges then after IET Lucknow you can consider this college. Infrastructure is average but the campus area is very big with lush green environment. Every branch has its department buildings except IT and EE which are self-financed branch here....     The BIET (Jhansi) is one of the most popular AKTU-affiliated autonomous colleges located in the city of Jhansi. My overall experience at this college is quite good.
