My Life in BIET

Overall Rating
I chose BIET because of my rank in JEE Main. Overall, the environment and culture is decent. It has friendly environment and has animals.
 

Academics Rating
There are seven branches in this institute. If I talk about eligibility, there is only one criterion and that is JEE Main rank and JoSAA counseling. If anyone wants to go in IT sector, he or she must prefer to get Computer Science or IT branch. Nevertheless, if anyone wants to do research in electronics field, he or she should prefer ECE branch.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty members are quite experienced here. Some faculties and their ways of teaching are good. In Electronics & Communication Engineering department, most of the faculty members are highly qualified and eager to give student some good lessons.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, there is a training and placement cell in BIET. Although, not many companies come during placements. Still, it is quite helpful for students regarding any internship program or something like that. There is also innovation and incubation cell in our institute, which helps in promoting any startup idea.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Campus's academic blocks are quite old. Most of the buildings are very old. Although there is some good infrastructure in the institute like Multipurpose Hall and Student Activity Centre. Infrastructure of library and TPC is also beautiful as it is newly constructed. Most of the hostels are very old and need renovation.
 

Campus Rating
Overall campus life is good. There are number of fests organized every year. One of them is ‘Innovanza’ (a tech fest organized by Innovation and Incubation Cell), ‘Abhinandan’ (event for freshers organized by cultural sub council). There are many clubs, and sub councils that used to conduct many events throughout the year.

    Bundelkhand Institute of Engineering & Technology is affordable and the fees are low. I chose this Institute because I wanted CSE and this was the only Institute where I was able to get computer science. This Institute comes in top 3 under UPTAC but it has average infrastructure....     Overall review about BIET college is good. If student not get any NIT and IIT that college is good for choice as this college comes on 3rd number in AKTU. And also placement wise it is not as bad as compared to other colleges if you have courage to do hard work then BIET helps you a most to getting good placement. And also you getting enough time to do preparation of government exam, GATE, and any field where you want to go you get enough time to upgrade yourself. So yes, overall review is good....     Decent college as compared to other AKTU colleges. I think if you are opting AKTU colleges then after IET Lucknow you can consider this college. Infrastructure is average but the campus area is very big with lush green environment. Every branch has its department buildings except IT and EE which are self-financed branch here....     The BIET (Jhansi) is one of the most popular AKTU-affiliated autonomous colleges located in the city of Jhansi. My overall experience at this college is quite good. The campus life, the friends, the seniors and juniors, and the playground are all good. We made many memories in this college. I got into this college on the basis of my JEE Mains rank.
