Gaining Practical Skills at AV Parekh Technical Institute, Rajkot

I am currently in last semester at A.V. Parekh Technical Institute and I can confidently say that I really learned and enjoyed very well. The best past about this college is that I have made many projects during my journey. I have experienced live programming, designing and much more. I choose AVPTI because of its popularity and the quality of faculty and it is true I can guarantee this. The main difference between other colleges and AVPTI is their highly educated and technical professors. All of them are very polite and helpful.

I have selected computer engineering at AV Parekh Technical Institute because of future trend and my personal interest. The best part is that I like to do programming and live projects on IoT therefore I have enrolled in it. The requirement is that you have to register in ACPDC to enroll in AVPTI. You need to score higher in English, Math, Science because your rank card will be based on these subjects mark. In our curriculum there are two mid in a sem but based on new curriculum there are only one mid in a sem and a final exam of University. The academics are overall good because it is designed and based on industry need and future requirements.

For diploma in computer engineering total fees of Institute is Rs. 1,300 per year (not included university form fees). The total fee including university exam form fees will be Rs. 2,250/year. Digital Gujarat Scholarships are also provided on the basis of caste as determined by the University.

The faculty members of computer department are very highly skilled and educated in their specific field. There method of teaching is very efficient and in professional way. All faculties are pass out from GPSE and higher studies. They also have more than 10+ years of experience. Most of faculty members teach us through PPTs. I have had very good experience with faculty members. If you cross limit of discipline you will face trouble, because all faculties expect all students respect.

Most of the students of diploma opt for higher studies, but if someone wants to go for placement then our college also provides facilities for placement in good technical post job. Every year the placement program is held and students can participate in it. The well known company’s that visit are TCS, Infosys, Vipro, Tatvasoft, etc. The lowest package that a diploma student can expect is 1.5 lakh.

Yes, AV Parekh Technical Institute provides hostel facilities. But I don't have exact idea of rooms, infrastructure, activities because of I have not stayed in hostel.

The overall infrastructure at AV Parekh Technical Institute is very nice and clean. All classrooms are attached with digital board where faculty teaches through PPT. The classrooms are neat and clean but sometimes the cleanliness of class is not properly maintained because of less staff. There is no canteen and sports ground. The college is at the centre of city so transportation is very easy.

The overall campus life experience is very nice, all students of college are very well disciplined and good in behavior. No there is no clubs. There are many activities held by college and University like science fair. There is a sports week celebrated every year that is held by University named "Gujarat khel maha kumbh". Also fest of college is held every year. For passed students Institute organizes farewell program. Overall my experience with AVPTI is excellent and I found no problem regarding the campus.
