Campus Life at St. Joseph's College of Law, Bangalore

St. Joseph's College of Law provides a very good infrastructure with friendly and helpful faculties. The college's atmosphere is really cool. They include a lot of activities that teaches moral values and about the hardships faced by the vulnerable classes and community. It helped me in coming out of my comfort zone. Everyone is given equal opportunities to showcase their talent and also to participate in many events, competitions, etc. which helps them to learn about their actual aims. They encourage students to come out of their comfort zone and try out new things.

I chose B.A.LL.B, in St. Joseph's College of Law because it provides good quality education and it has a good reputation. Eligibility criteria to get entry in this college is that a student had to clear a written exam followed by two interviews. It's affiliated to KSLU and exams under KLSU are very challenging. It's quite hard to get good scores. At some point while studying for the exam you might feel the syllabus is very hectic.

Fee structure differs with each course. It is be a bit more than Rs. 1,00,000 including uniform fees and exam fees. No fee discounts are available based on category.

There are amazing faculty members at St. Joseph's College of Law. Lecturers are very friendly, understanding and they also have got their own smart ways to make us understand concepts in a better and easy way. Though they're friendly yet they're very strict with timings. They're very approachable regardless of the issues being related to academics or personal. Some use PPT’s, some give notes and some use videos etc. to teach.

It's located in the residency road. The campus of St. Joseph's College of Law has got two blocks, one is for 5 year course and the other one is for 3 year courses. Library is the best place for a person to invest their time. It has various committees (extracurricular) every year like sports day. Transportation is very convenient as there's a BMTC bus stop right next to the college gate. Security guards are strict yet friendly at times.

Overall, St. Joseph's College of Law campus is enough spacious where you also have the space to play various ground games, run around and have fun. College crowd is pretty good with approximately more than 1k students. Events and fests organized are mostly related to law. They tend to be very interesting and attention seeking. Some events and extracurricular activities organized by the college bring out some messages to the people outside as well.
