My Views on IIT Patna

Overall Rating
My overall experience at IIT Patna is good. The fact, which made me to choose this particular institute, and this course, is because it is an online course, which helps me to focus on my extracurricular activities and learning some new skills along with this course. In addition, there is no pressure of attending classes regularly on time. You can attend the classes anytime from anywhere, whenever you want under the 48 hours of completing the lecture for marking your attendance.
 

Academics Rating
The course I chose is B.Sc CSDA and motive for enrolling in the course is because in future there will be high demand for data analyst. To get admission for this course in IIT Patna, you must have given any national level entrance exam like JEE, CUET, etc. In addition, if you have not given any national level entrance exam, then you have to apply for IIT Patna's IITP SAT entrance exam. In addition, the other eligibility criteria to get the admission are you have to pass your 12th with at least 60 percent.
The year wise fee for B.Sc CSDA course in IIT Patna is around Rs. 92,000. The registration fee is around Rs. 1550. There are no extra charges for this course.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members of IIT Patna are very well behaved, helpful, and supportive. All the teachers are educated and well qualified. In addition, their way of teaching is very good. Their methods of teaching are Group Discussions and PPTs. The problem solving abilities of the faculty is good. They are very approachable and my experience and bonding with them is good. The number of students as compared to the number of teacher is quite high. As there are 750 students in one batch of B.Sc CSDA.
 

Placement Rating
The placement cell is present at our institute and it is almost run by students. The highest package offered by the recruiters in our institute as per my knowledge is almost around 84 LPA. In addition, the average package offered by the recruiter is around 25 LPA in our institute.
 

Hostel Rating
No, there are no residential facilities offered by the institute for this course.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus size is very big which is around 500 plus acres. The locality is also friendly. The academic blocks and structure are good. The classroom is good, neat, and clean. Everything including library, labs, seminar hall, and auditorium and conference hall is well maintained, neat, and clean. My favorite thing at my institute is library and canteen. In the library, there are many books available for the students.
 

Campus Rating
My overall campus life is amazing. Yes, there are clubs but I am not the part of any of them.
Engagement activities program are organized at end of every semester exam by the institute, which is known as Campus Immersion Program. They organized the campus Immersion program for around 10 to 15 days and in this period, you got the chance to participate in the fest in this program and they organize some games for the students to play in this campus Immersion program.

    My experience of IIT Patna has been great so far. Here we get world class faculties and infrastructures, most importantly the IIT community, i.e. being around the best minds of the nation.     Firstly, talking about academics, yes, here at IIT Patna academics is tough. Academic curriculum is designed such that an average IITian can cope up with it. Professors are very good, helpful and highly qualified and have gone through a very rigorous selection process for being a faculty here. College life is pretty good.
