MAISM Jaipur's Infrastructure and Campus Life

In today's competitive world, it is tough to get the best institute for pursuing any course because there is high competition. Every institute is offering different amenities or facilities to the students I was also confused to opt which institute that aligns with my future goals after searching for many institutes. Finally, I got admission in the institute that was suitable for future prospects. Maharshi Arvind Institute of Science and Management (MAISM) that is located in Jaipur falls under the list of best institutes in Jaipur for pursuing IT courses. Along with this, the institute also focuses on personal development and sports related activities. My overall experience was amazing. I am into sports and it was the institute, which do not only focus on studies but also on other important aspects.

The course that I chose was BCA. There were several entry requirements to get seat in this institute. Students need minimum 65% in 12th standard with Mathematics as compulsory subject. The admission process of the institute was simple. They conduct a basic interview to get to know about your personality traits and basic communication & writing skills. Next step is submitting all the necessary documents required by the institute. It conducts exams as per the rules of Rajasthan University because this institute is affiliated by it. In a year, 4 unit tests were conducted by the institute and the final examination by Rajasthan University. I must say this was a great academic experience as my personality has developed a lot. The institute uses various kinds of activities for students to make them learn how they can cope up with real life challenges as well. Students must be willing to take classes on a daily basis, as 80% attendance was mandatory in order to give exams.

The fee of the course (BCA) was 2.55 Lakh for 3 years. This included the registration fee of Rs. 5,000 (One time), and Rs. 85,000 per year as a tuition fee. You can get scholarship up to 30% if a student has 85% or more marks in HSC.

There were highly qualified faculties in the institute for every subject. The faculties were knowledgeable and helpful. Majority of faculties were from renowned institutes or PhD holders in their subjects. The faculties in the institute use different methods to provide learning to the students such as explaining things on blackboards and showing concepts in PPTs to make it more clearly with visuals. They also use to conduct mock tests to ensure everyone is learning things. Overall, the faculties were good. They do have great problem solving skills, which makes them expertise of their subject. The faculties were helpful and approachable for the student even after institute time they are ready to assist students. I have very good bonding with some of the faculties in my course and they helped me a lot in clearing my concepts no matter how much time it takes.

If we talk about the placements, MAISM Jaipur is mainly known for its placements. They do have a hierarchy of placement in which they classify students as per their grades and overall knowledge scores given by their faculties. They do have tie-up with renowned companies all over the India where they get their students placed. In the last year of graduation after the final examination, it starts training students for the interviews, they have dedicated faculties who prepare students for their interview process and make them learn new things, which can create a great impact in the interview. They focus on every small details such as sitting posture, how you should be dressed, how to communicate from every basic to advance thing, which are important in an interview, were observed by them and then they train students how to be efficient in an interview. In my course BCA, average salary package was starting from 4 LPA and highest package was up to 20 LPA. My placement experience was good, I followed the things taught by the faculties and I got hired in my first interview, which was with Teleperformance Global, it was a MNC and I was hired by them as a CSA.

No, the institute does not provide and residential facilities.

The campus of institute was not so big but it was beautifully build showing the legacy. The locality of the institute was posh area of Jaipur, which is known as Ambabari. The Institute has fully AC-ventilated classrooms with the seating capacity of 20 to 30 students. The institute also has library, labs, auditorium, conference hall, and a playground for sports activities. The canteen of the institute was neat and clean which has a capacity of 50 students. The food is tasty and made with proper hygiene. They do have medical transport to assist as well in case of emergency occurs in the institute premises. There were security guards in the institute who take care of the institute campus. My favorite thing when I was in institute was sports; I used to be the captain of Inter-institute cricket team. It was a great experience for me as we use to compete with different institutes.

My overall campus life was great. I have learnt many things. While I was pursuing BCA from MAISM Jaipur with time, my personality was enhanced and I gained confidence to communicate with other in an efficient manner. The overall institute crowd was decent. There are some clubs that assist the institute in different fields such as event management or sports/fest management. Every year, it conducts extracurricular activities for students in order to improvise their personality. Apart from that, there is an annual fest in which students used to showcase their cooking, singing, dancing, and other skills. Overall, my experience was life changing. it was my best decision to choose this institute
