ITM Aligarh B.Tech Fees & Admission Process

The overall experience at Institute of Technology and Management is fine. There is no ragging policy followed in the Institute. However, the sports culture is not that much promoted here. The classes are average with one blackboard. There are 6 fans in the classroom and no AC is provided. There is a library from where you can borrow books for a week. After a week, you need to renew or return the book(s). There is tap water for drinking water facility. The toilets are below average. Overall experience here has been average and sometimes below average. I chose this Institute because it is nearby to my residence.

I chose B.Tech in Institute of Technology and Management because I am interested in technology and devices. There are no such criteria set for admission in the Institute. They conduct 2 sessional exams and 1 Pre University Exams every semester. The overall academic experience is fine with the Institute.

I paid Rs. 90,000 + Rs. 15,000 (Transport) per year for B.Tech in CS branch. There was no discount provided to me. However, you can pay the annual fee in installments.

The faculty members in our course at Institute of Technology and Management were nice. All of them were very supportive and they make sure that most of the students get passed with good marks. The faculty members of core subjects (physics, chemistry, math) are masters in their fields whether other subjects are average. Their method of teaching includes blackboard only. Their problem solving ability is awesome. The teachers are generally busy due to load of multiple lectures in a day. The bonding between teachers and students are also good.

The placement cell at Institute of Technology and Management is average. Also the packages that the students get is also average which is 3LPA. However, regular companies visit the Institute and recently Hyundai Motors signed a MOU for recruitment of students. The average package is 3 LPA and maximum is 7 LPA.

No residential facilities are available in Institute of Technology and Management. Therefore, no mess is there. However, there is a Institute canteen serving 7-8 items in a meal.

The campus structure of Institute of Technology and Management is average. The campus size is big with 4 Blocks in the Institute. The seating capacity of each classroom is approximately 50-55 students. The labs are average and the seminar hall is not too big to handle crowd. Other than these, there are no specified places for other programs. There's a stage in the playground. The Institute lags behind in the terms of sports. However the sports activities are organized every year. But the sports dedicated lectures are not effective. The transportation has a broad range but it requires at least 2 or 3 students from a stop to provide transportation facility. My favorite part of the Institute is seminar hall as it is very comfortable to sit in.

The average campus life in Institute of Technology and Management is full of study, little sports and full fun altogether. The Institute crowd is huge as it provides a huge range of courses like B.Tech, MBA, BCA, Diploma courses, etc. There are no clubs in the Institute. The extracurricular activities also take place frequently. The annual fests also take place frequently. My experience was good enough in terms of academics and transport facilities in the Institute. The overall experience was average.
