K.S. School of Engineering and Management: My Overall Experience

Overall Rating
Overall experience at K.S. School of Engineering and Management is quite good than expected. I got a seat at this college through KCET. This institute has a huge beautiful campus filled with greenery. The institute has experienced faculty who are friendly in nature. One can get a peaceful environment since it is located far from main road. There are many events conducted and many clubs to join giving a whole social experience. Many Technical events like Hackathons are conducted here.
 

Academics Rating
I have chosen Artificial Intelligence and Data Science course. Due to popularity in use of Artificial Intelligence I chose this course. I got a seat in this college through KCET. Admission fees of ₹10000 are charged excluding the fee structure of KCET. Each semester has three internal exams and one final exam. The use of academics in real-life is moderate. The use of fully equipped labs and seminar halls has made the learning process easier.
As I got a seat through KCET I paid Rs. 1,15,956 for one year. Rs. 10,000 is charged as admission fees. Certain amount is reduced for SC and ST category students.
 

Faculty Rating
All the faculties at K.S. School of Engineering and Management are experienced and many have completed their Ph.D. They make well use of projectors for explanation of specific concepts. All teachers are ready to clear doubts and are available always. Every subject has different teachers. All faculties are friendly in nature and one can feel free to approach. Different teachers use different methods to make us understand the concepts a lot easier and in an effective way. One can understand all the concepts thoroughly.
 

Placement Rating
The placement cell at K.S. School of Engineering and Management provides placement in various companies. Companies like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, NTT Data, etc. visit our institute every year.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, this college offers separate hostels for girls and boys. Mess food is good and hygienic.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are three main blocks. It is a huge campus filled with greenery. It is located far from main road and hence peaceful environment. There are many seminar halls and a huge 1000 seater capacity auditorium. There is a huge library which has thousands of books and access to e-resources. There is a huge canteen with variety of food options, four badminton courts, mud ground, and basketball court. The canopy is my favorite place in this campus. All labs are fully equipped.
 

Campus Rating
My campus life at K.S. School of Engineering and Management is nice and filled with more number of opportunities to shape my personality and character. There are many clubs to join and currently I am not a part of any club. Extra-curricular activities like talents meet are conducted here on regular basis. Events like Kannada Ugadhi, Ganesh Chaturthi, Kannada Rajyothsava, Ethnic Day, College Day, and Arohana are conducted here. Overall experience at K.S. School of Engineering and Management is good and I got many new friends and friendly faculties.
